    Red plastic rods?

Hey guys, I don't know if I was supposed to put this in the modelling section or not, but can anyone provide me with a link to a website that sells the red gauss replacement rods? I appreciate it!

2 Things, you want to 3/32" flourescent red rods from Plastruct. My suggestion is to use their site and find a LOCAL vendor. My local shop was listed on their site and I was able to special order them. There are 10 rods which are 9" long. The parts number is on their site too.

As to the ebay monolith conversion, I don't like it. All it is is plastruct rods (which I can get) and the door/gem is .01" thick plastic, that's PAPER thin to cut the shapes out with. Personally I'm going to go with plastruct rods i buy, and then get a plastic sample from Tap plastics for the door and a glass red drawer knob for the gem on top. But the monolith is the only conversion I'm wondering on still (also planning to light it with a strand of 10 LEDs on 2 AA's).

You can get them from this shop on ebay. At least that's where I got mine

As Dark Trainer said, you want the 3/32" ones. Good luck, post some pictures.

Not sure what you paid, but I got 72" of rod for $5, that's a TON of models. Be careful with the ebay stuff as they will overcharge! Cutting is simple, use an old blade, heat it on a candle...and custom cut it...I got enough for my whole army for $10

I didn't pay a lot. From that ebay shop, I don't have the exact measurements but each rod is roughly 10-12" long and comes in packs of 8 for $5. So I guess we got about the same!

Yeah yours are the same, but I've seen some auctions where people will pre cut the rods and charge $4+ for just 10 1" rods...talk about a mark up! I've heard people pay over $50 for rods for their army...
