Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was just wondering - is it possible to get flash gitz into ur army because i have not seen them at the shops. If so, can u convert ork boyz into them or is there some special bitz pack i need to get?
Umfortunately there is no official model for them so you will have to convert some of your own. I might suggest using the current Ork Boyz with lots of armor and really big converted guns.

I would suggest using nobz, actually, as flash gitz have nob stats. The group from AoBR is a good start, and you can them give them big gunz and ammo packs.

There was a big discussion on flash gitz, along with field tests to see how they hold up and work. Here's the results:
I'm not saying they can't be useful given the right circumstances, but no matter what the situation is, they'll never come anywhere near warranting their cost. I'm afraid it's the case of a unit being fun to play, and potentially powerful, but completely crippled by it's ridiculously high cost. To make matters worse, they really need a transport in order to be effective, increasing their cost even further. They honestly should have cost around 5-10 point less each, or come with the +1 strength and +1 shot upgrades for free.
Now, Captain Badrukk is another thing altogether. He's more than capable of tearing through enemy forces with a torrent of powerful gunfire, earning his points back in short order. It's just a shame that the unit he's attached to isn't worth a dime.
I've toyed around with the idea of just fielding the minimum 3 models as so: 1 painboy with cybork, 1 flash gitz with the +1 shot/strength upgrades and cybork, and Captain badrukk, either hidden in cover or inside a looted wagon. It wouldn't completely break the bank, and they'll still do some damage. To make it even funnier, it's more or less Captain Badrukk, an assistant, his personal physician, and his car. He's not so much a unit, but an ork celebrity. ^_^
The sad thing is, even if you did do the small unit w/badrukk, you still wouldn't come anywhere near the effectiveness of lootas or nobz, and for the same cost as the flash gitz, you can have a nice unit of both. I'd stay away from this unit, unless it's just for fun.

Grax is more or less spot on. We've tried the Gitz out and they just don't stack up against similar units for the points.
That said, they're a lot of fun to use in non-competitive games and I can't wait to get modelling them in earnest (the Black Reach nobs are perfect for it).

I posted suggestions for them in that Flash Git post, i only wish GW reps read the forums, its probibly one of the least useful models out there(all armies). Very fun to model, and i personally have had better luck with them( 1/1,000 doesn't count as realible)
Sad thing is they were alot better in the old codex. But i'll have to look on and wait another 5-10 years before i see a change(probibly be even worse).
But hey they are only my second favorite, at least my beloved MANZ don't suck <3
MEGA ARMORED WAAAGH!!!!
