Please post some of your most memorable experiences you have had with your orks.
I've only just recently picked back up my Ork army after a hiatus of playing other armies instead, so I really only have one memorable moment with the greenskins, and it didn't even really involve da boys.
My first game of 40k with my ork army was a massive 6 player team game. On one of the first turns, my warboss and his nob retinue were blown to bits by a lucky basilisk shell. Making matters worse, the marine player to my flank deep-striked some terminators in a position that meant they were about to mop up my big unit of boyz. They had to get through a unit of gretchin first, however, and though I don't recall exactly how many there were initially, I know that twelve were left alive after his firing phase. To make up for this terrible start I proceeded to have the luckiest shooting phase I think I've ever seen.
Twelve gretchin killed 9 space marine terminators. In a single shooting phase.
Needless to say, the marine player bought new dice after that game. And the gretchin would have been promoted immediately, had a single model survived.
In 1989, using old, old, old rules my gretchin fired his autogun into the back of a chimera, as it was unloading troops. It caused an explosion, killing the driver and HB gunner, and the chimera careened off out of control, into an adjacent leman russ, which promptly exploded, wiping out a adjacent squad of penal troopers.
Oh yes, There was a severe grin on my face.

Seeing Gretchin kill a Hive Tyrant with shooting. Not my Orks or Nids but still one of the funniest things Ive ever seen in 40k. (ok the tyrant was the 3ed rulebook version and was probably wounded at the time but still funny)
The most memorable would be my Mad Doc Grotznik, going up into close combat with Ghazghkull. I had to put my attacks into the unit Ghaz was with, rather than into the boss himself, because of the way the game was going. This allowed Ghaz to freely attack the Mad Doc directly, and I held no illusions, Grotsnik was doomed.
The first round Ghaz got four wounds on him, forcing me to roll four 5+ invulnerable saves.
I made them all.
The next round I wasn't so lucky, but my opponent's expression was priceless, and I always claimed that Ghaz just kept pulling off the Mad Doc's limbs, to little or no effect. Eventually the Doc was just a torso and head, with the powerklaw held up in his teeth, when Ghaz finally finished him off.
It's okay, the orks have stapled Grotsnik back together plenty of times. ^_^
After that, the most memorable moment was firing a shokk attakk gun the first turn of a team game, and I rolled double 2's. As a new target, my opponent picked a unit of my Tau partner's firewarriors, annihilating the entire squad.
"They forgot who they were fighting."
"Any job worth doing, is worth doing with a powerklaw."
hmmm good or bad? meh i'll post both =D
Best moment ever was in a massive game against a tyranid player, he played 2 Screamer carnis and 2 Uberfexs(kitted out to the bone) rest of the army was swarm trash to tie up things.
i was losing the game till i took out all 4 in one turn.
Looted Wagon nailed BOTH Screamers after they finally finished off my remaining boyz, both had 1 wound left.
Lootas got a 3 shot(yay!) and took this thing from 5 to 0.
And thanks to a Cybork body my warboss took down the other one 5 its 4 wounds!... ok he had 3 other Mega nobs left that got the other.but all together they only got 1 wound *palmface*
So i went from losing horribly to winning slightly, funny thing is i still lost the game(marginally)
Worst Memorable moment is probibly when i lost my Bek mek to Scattered Battlecannon shot, after i lost my KFF heavy bolters lit up the larger part of my army... yea the Guard can be deadly for such puny bodies =(
At my club the other day we played a fourway match using the 'broken alliance' rules from the big hardbook rulebook.
So in the centre we had Ordztuf my warboss, a Khornate daemon prince, a dark eldar archon and a big mek with SAG.
Dark eldar got the first turn so charged in to slaughter the mek. Amazingly no wounds on the mek, the mek then swings his snotling bucket and wounds the archon who fails his morale and runs a few inches away. The other ork player then has his turn and fires the SAG getting the double needed to teleport him into the archon who he then precedes to finish off.
needless to say the DP and my boss cheesed it ASAP.
I 3 smaller games (750 points), I outshot 2 space marines players and a Tau on the same day. Playing orks means a lot of fire it you kit your boyz accordingly (Shoota boyz + Warphead + Lootaz).
All of them had the same astounded faces.
