I was wondering what weapons do you give your kan mobs
I only take grotzookas. They are awesome incarnate. My enemies have been brought to the verge of tears when I drop up to 18 templates on their army from 9 KKs. I have even killed 2 chimeras with them and a couple of rhinos. I beat a horde nid army by the end of turn 2 by dropping the templates over his warriors and hormagaunts. His lictors didn't even get a chance to show up. Go the grotzookas all the way, as templates the only scatter, never truly missing unless you are really unlucky.

I don't like Grotzookas. The killa kans are hurt enough by Dawn of War missions, since they have to start all the way back at your table edge. Cutting their range by 6 inches is just adding insult to injury. Besides, they don't need anti-infantry weapons. The Ork army is already fantastic at destroying enemy infantry. The real problem the Orks have is with vehicles and enemies with 2+ armor saves.
That's why I always give my killa kans some kustom mega blastas. Rokkits aren't bad, but terminators and monstrous creatures will laugh them off.
I don't use big shootas because lootas easily outperform killa kans when it comes to long range shooting. There's plenty of ways to get cheap big shootas into the army, and the improved BS doesn't mean as much when you're dealing with multiple shots. What the kans are really good at is shooting while moving, and counter-assaulting the enemy.
I wouldn't give them any other upgrades either. Killa kans are too easily destroyed to warrant them. Just give them the kmbs.

I agree with mynameisgrax, Kustom Mega Blastas all the way. 4+ to hit and 2+ to kill almost any infantry in the game (invulnerable saves aside). Plus the same odds as a Rokkit to kill vehicles.
I'd rather hedge my bets with a KMB against Terminators then have Rokkits bounce off them.
The bonus BS really helps in this aspect. The rest of the army with BS2 has plenty of twin-linked or Assault 2 weapons to launch salvos of fire at the enemy. You don't want to skimp 5pts when you can nail a Terminator Lord dead in a single shot.
KMBs for business, Grotzookas for fun.
