What's your worst army to play against with orks? could be interesting
there just to damm shooty!
And they shall know no fear, well they'll know some fear of course because fighting all those aliens can be awfully scary.
Witch Hunters, specifically Sisters, can put some serious hurting on with all those flamers and bolters.
Chaos is also problematic thanks to Lash and every unit being great in cc and hard to kill.
I'm surprised that Tau are so high in the poll. Honestly, I don't have that much trouble against Tau. Sure, they have strength 5 guns and are mobile enough to keep out of reach, but their railguns aren't that crippling against Orks. The Tau hurt Tyranids a lot more than they do Orks.
The real enemy of orks are those blasted Eldar. Their psychic powers are brutally effective, and allow most of their troops to stand toe to toe with the orks. Their skimmers are also really hard to reach, and since our main method of anti-armor is powerklaws, that's a problem. If it weren't for lootas and shoota boyz, we'd have no chance against them at all.
Template heavy Sisters of Battle and Imperial Guard can also be a problem, if they're played the right way. Even basic Space Marines can cause a lot of trouble to us orks if they bring enough flamers and ordnance.
On a side note, do you want to know what the 'easiest' armies for us to beat are?
No question: Dark Eldar and Chaos. Dark Eldar just can't hold up against the swarm, and Chaos falls too easily to powerklaws and deffguns. Since starting with the Orks, I've honestly only lost to Chaos once.
Really? You've had trouble with Chaos, ==Me==? I've honestly had no trouble against them at all. Their vehicles are all fragile enough to be brought down by lootas and rokkits (except for the land raiders, but I just ignore those), their troops aren't any less vulnerable to powerklaws than normal marines, their most powerful units aren't that threatening to orks, and although 'lash' is indeed a pain, the demon princes fall relatively easily to concentrated fire.

I have had problems in the past, especially with Noise Marines and Khorne Berzerkers. Noise Marines put out so much dakka that cover is virtually negated and you're losing half a mob per turn. And since all their weapons can be assault they can advance backwards and pound away at your boyz or lighter vehicles. Khorne Berzerks shred boyz in combat, so once I get in close they rip anything short of a Nob to pieces. Lash further confounds this by pushing the mobs back (or out of KFF range) so the NMs can annihilate them. Snikrot and his Boyz have helped a lot, as well as Nob Bikers and a few Trukk mobs.
New marines will cause problems too with Sternguard and the Whirly/Thunderfire. Lots of ignoring cover shots make ==Me== a sad squig.

Space marines, i hate those devils, they always beat me in every aspect of every game.
Since I've started playing, I've really only been able to fight against Necrons, Black Templars, and Guard. Necrons are fairly shooty, and their monolith can take a decent chunk outta my forces, but once I hit assault, the necrons just can't keep up with that many attacks, and the monolith is far too slow to outrun my warboss and his can-opener.
IG are surprisingly frustrating, when played properly. The fact that he's got about six or seven grenade launchers in even a very small army, and mortars, and a basilisk shreds my orks by the dozen, and their tiny squads make it hard for me to stay in assault to avoid being shot to pieces on the following turn. Snikkrot tends to eat right through their command squad though, so that's always nice.
Templars tend to brutalize my boyz, if I send squads against them on a one-for-one basis (that's squad for squad, not model for model, I'm not stupid ), so I just mob up on them with loads of boyz, don't play fair, outnumber them by as much as possible. Also, shokk attack gun. Boom.
Gotta put a vote on for Tau. I've only played them once with my Orks, but it was too much shooty for me. I got off some nice shots with my koptas, but it was still a brutal loss.
not to mention my Weirdboy drifting his teleport causing me to lose ALL my nobz he was rolling with (which i was banking on).

Maybe Tau, but honestly I'm not too sure. The reason Tau are doing better against Orks while being shooty, is 'cause there not only strong weapons, but theres also a fair amount of guns too, as FW's are fairly cheap.
So I guess Tau but maybe Eldar
