Welcome to Librarium Online!
I would like to get some ideas from other people about how they equip their Tyranid Warriors. I run a swarm list and I try to keep my list well balanced so that it is versatile enough to deal with most opponents.
I normally run Tyranid Warriors in my fast attack slot. I equip them with: wings, rending claws, devourers, toxin sacs, and adrenal glands(BS).
How do you configure your Tyranid warriors and what slot do you assign them for, Elite, HQ, Fast Attack?
I would never put them in HQ, Tyrants are just so much better...
When I use them I put them in Elites or Fast Attack, and roll them as barebones as I can, with Devourers and Enhanced Senses for the most all-comers destruction I can get.

I like barebones warriors. ST, DS, and thats all. At a mere 26 pts each, they have decent CC potential and can fire off s5 blasts. You can swarm them as cheap synapse and a decent firebase.

I really like them with TS, Wings, Bio plasma, twin linked devourers.
Mobility, Dakka, Instant death CC and some more CC on "normal" initiative :-)
Hive Fleet Lucanus : 2000 points
I have found that Tyranid warriors almost always have to be equipped with rending claws in order for them to be effective in cc against most anything other than low level grunts like tau fire warriors, gretchin, and i-guard. If you don't equip them with rending claws, I find that they can be easily over powered by even regular space marine infantry.
would you guys recomend winged warriors?
winged with ST, TS, and rending claws?
or winged with twinlined devourer?
What wings do you use for you warriors?
I've been running my warriors with
Deathspitter, Rending claws
Enhanced Senses, Extended Carapace, Bioplasma, Adrenal Glands-Initiative.
They're not the most amazing unit I've ever used but they get the job done. They're supposed to be support units backing up gaunts, so I have them mixed for ranged and melee pretty equally. With the EC and BP which I've found make them far more effective. Maybe a little expensive for the way they take to heavy-bolter equivalent fire.
Also I don't really nitpick about whether they're in HQ or Elites as I have a slot open for them in both charts.
Mine is 2 groups of 3 TS, Wings, twin linked devourers.

Nids "Splinter Fleet Bestia"
I love my warriors. A large brood with deathspitters can lay down a bunch of templates, doing lots of damage especially with the way templates work now. I don't even bother to give them enhanced senses or extended carapace. I plop them in cover or screen them, and let them rain death.
