like the title says, i have read about Old Zogstrok today in my new ork codex and my mouth fell open with a loud AWESOME!
i mean, there is running a 200 points deamon prince towards you and zogstrok points at him and *plop*, a squig!
how amesome is that?!
what i wanted to ask, do some of you have experience using him?
is he realy that good on the tabletop as i think he is by reading the codex?
thanks for answering!
I think you mean Zogwort, and yes he is pretty sweet. His biggest problem is survivability (no armor or ward and few wounds) and the randomness of Orky psychic powers. The curse is an awesome thing sincey ou can always choose to use it instead, so that negates some of the wackiness of the other powers.

yeah, i did meant zogwort, (how the hell did i came to zogstrok?)
thanks for correcting me,
(maybe i will name my warboss or an other special ork Zogstrok? cause that name is now forever melted in ma' brain!)
I've used him a few times, the power is really cool, especialy when you turn Magnius callgar into a squig,
however the only problem is that he usualy only gets 1 chance to cast, and he only has a... 46~% chance for it to work
he also cool in apocalypse, as tyranid gargantuan creatures are independent characters... they now have an 800 point squig
That sounds intense. I do not polay orks but I had an Ork player try to turn Eldrad into a squiq, I was like "Your gonna what?":o It is a big surpise factor to it besides. Then everything turns to kill him so be wary.

I like the old wackyness of all of them ork powers! reminds me of the old ork codex, back when we were about havin fun! (lol j/k) but it was more "everything comes with a risk but we're orks we don't care" kinda feel
PM me about Aurora Prime Vassal fights! Willing and ready!
A lot of players overlook it, but his Nest of Vipers ability really makes him stand out if you take him into close combat (or warp yourself there!). Putting him with a squad of boyz can be pretty potent. Every now and then, for fun, I run him with a squad of 10 burnas.. hoo boy do they make a mess.
yeah, the nest of vipers is really strong especialy if you rolled a 1/2/3 with your power, as then you have the basic+bonus attacks, with the fixed wounding & they are power weapons... things die
Nothin' quite like poisoned power weapons to make your day.
Old Zog is definately going to be in most of my lists - he's fun AND disgustingly powerful.
Does anyone know how the 'eadbang power works when inside a transport? I thought I read that somewhere, but can't find it again.
The FAQ on the GW website says Eadbanger does this: Causes a strenght 6 hit on the vehicles rear armour.
I would post a link to the FAQ but the website seems to be down at the moment.
