Help me find my xv8 shoes

i managed to loose the base and feet off one of my xv8 suits, so ive decided to mount him on a flying base instead. problem is he still doesnt have feet. any ideas what i can use/ for feet instead? im hunting around for sparse and asking around fro a pair but not much luck so far. i live in NZ so ordering a sprue is out of the question (unless i want to pay 20 pound for postage )

    cheers guys

Well that would be irritating, although if you plan on entering tournaments he must be on a base of at least the original base size.

I would suggest using (i haven't tried this, but it looks like it should work), the little carbine connector from the gun drone (the little circle with 3 rods poking off of it), as the ankle, depending on how badly the break is. Shave off the rods and you have a little gear with a hole in it for the ball of the leg, then find something to use for toes, maybe bit off of a flamer chopped up? The blocks on the back look about the right thickness.

live in palmie at the mo. will be in rotorua after uni exams.

i just collect, convert and paint, i dont play so no problems for tournaments.

no break just the feet are missing. like he still has the little balls that goe into the foot socket. dont glue that becasue the fit is tight enough that it doesnt matter, haha except when i loose the base and feet.

Sorry to hear about your footless XV8.

If it were me, I'd set him up to be flying over some smoke (cotton) or dense brush to hide the feet from view. Not only dose it obscure the problem but it provides for a more interesting base.

maybe you could convert something out of the little 4 way sprue that holds slotted base's together? Just find a way to bend them down a bit?

If you get a Broadside it comes with regular XV8 feet AND XV88 feet, leaving you with an extra pair of feet.
My gaming group's new motto: That army you're using is overpowered because it hurts my guys, codex is broken and needs a rewrite.
