A question do the hits happen before the death or glory attempt, or do the first ones go then the death or glory then if it fails the additional ones. I not very familiar with how tank shocking works in 5th edition or how this would work against infantry, more so ones who would attempt to death or glory.
To my understanding it would seem the unit being tank shocked would take a leadership test and the hits and if they chose a death or glory attempt would take additional hits before the attempt was made, which could lead to their being no models left to death or glory.

the way it works is the unit takes its test, regardless of the result they are taking D6 hits allready, if they choose to then death or glory then they make their attack, regardless of if they stop it or not they will then take the full 2D6 hits worked out after they do all their movement and attacks.
