i've been thinking about starting to read the book. i've seen that alot of people have read firewarrior on this tau forum because it is tau. i play tau and i want to know if i will actually like the book or will i just like it because i play tau?

Well I read it, and personally it is what turned me on to Tau in the first place. The one thing I will say about it is that it is very gritty and a little more negative than you would expect coming from a Tau's point of view, but overall a good read I think, and well written. But of course thats just my opinion. The best way to find out if you like it is to go on a read it

I liked it as well. I thought it was a good book. I believe that I would have liked it even if I didn't play Tau.

I say go for it, its a good read (great even, if you consider that it was based off of a video game). It's a very visual book, a lot of the action is so cliched that you don't have to struggle to imagine what's going on. I guess that makes it more of a fun read, as you can spend more time getting to know Kais.

Aye, tis a great read I thought. It showed you what Kais' thoughts actually were, and gave that more personal feel, that I felt the game lacked.

    Its a good read

I loved the book fire warrior. Its a great read with plenty of action as well as some quite humerous bits although it does get quite dark in places.

Ps i also liked the game firewarrior as well.

It was not based on the video game! the other way around, first the book then the game!
