Twin-Linked Weapons (any)
I was wondering, after 5th has come out, whats the consensus on Wraithlord weapon options? I've been struggling with Anti tank lately, and was wondering what people thought of taking Twin Linked Bright Lances. Are they worth the points? I was considering taking two. What about the other options, any opinions?
Never twin link a weapon on a WL. If you want anti-tank (my primary use for the WL) use a Bright Lance and a ML.
Everything I have told you, even this, is a lie.
edit: ack, double post
For versatility I give mine a wraithsword and an EML. I find I can't kill a damn thing without the wraithsword to reroll my hits in CC, and the EML being so versatile gives him some ranged tank busting and anti-horde, with twin flamers naturally
For a cheap wraitlord of about 140 pts I like the wraithsword and brightlance. He has a little anti tank but then can close with the enemy and hold up a unit on his own, mind you to mind war the power fist dude and he owns the unit then.

For AT I usually take two wraithlords each with BL & EML + two famers. Works reasoably effectively for me and I regularly face SM and IG armies.
I used to use Brightlance, sword and 2xFlamers, you can take out tanks, packed infantry, and hurt more in combat, a good all rounder
I go with the Brightlance/Wraithsword combo. It was mostly so I could make it look cool though. The anti-tank capabilities such thing provided were kind of secondry. My Wraithlord hasn't really done much for me whenever I've fielded it. It's normally a big target for stupid Railgun shots.
Wraithlords, like all targets, work best when the enemy doesn't have enough firepower to disable their usefulness. Put one tank grade model on the field and all your enemy's anti tank shots will be hitting it. Take 3 or mix them with tanks and it should do better.
I vote for bright lance lord because they just look awesome! Secondary weapon has to be either the EML for effectiveness or sword 'cuz it's just that "bad" to have a big scary walking skeleton warrior with a sword the size of a house.

I use the exact same build as Stella Cadente and ShaselMudd, It's so versatile. I've also found it a good idea to Mind War any sergeant hes about to charge, (just in case =D)
