Hi there, I'm think about using about using Ravenors as the basis for a crazy unrelated modelling projected for a different game system because there seems to be 2 different models for them (I Don't like repetition in units). is there actually any pose / detailing differences between the 2 Ravenors? I'm only interested in the Torso-to-tail section, not the arms or the head....
I don't know how to answer your question, but you can also ask the guys at the modelling forum, as they will be able to help you as well

Really, the only difference I can see between them (by them I mean the 2 models) is that the torso of one is slightly leaning more to one side then the other. There is no variation to the coil of the tail, the actually head itself (not that you don't worry about that, I am speaking in general for anyone else wondering the same thing) nor the appearance of any features of the body (eg. baring skeleton, scything/rending claws, etc.). If you want variation, position the weapon-symbiotes in different ways (ie. one pointing up, one pointing down). And swivel the head to make one point left and another look right. Subtle differences, but they are effective. A really good paint job detailing differences goes a long way too.
Hope that helps!

Also, psst. not that it matters to you, but neither of them come with rending claws they are both dual scything talons, the cake... picture is a lie!
