What do you think of this list? The Archon would go round with the Grotesques, giving him protection and forcing enemies to fall back. The rest is self explanitory.

hmm... looks good, I just don't see any warriors in it... if I looked correctly i saw 10 warriors!!!!!!!!!!!... in my opinion screw them, and change them to wyches, make a wych cult army in this case, more wyches...

pure wyches, good transport, hq is a lil shaky, i think you only need 1 archon.
Good ravagers, they are well needed. Jetbikes are fine for an early assault

Oh and wat is an animus vitae? I forgot.. soz

An animus vitae increases S and I by 1 once that model captures someone. It also means any model captured by his counts for 5 victory points instead of 1. A wych cult would be good, granted, but I just couldn't say goodbye to incubi!

Actually Animus Vitae increases S and WS, but I won't go into that.

This thread should be in the Army Lists section, if you haven't read the rules .

I suggest a Mod move this.

Then I'll state my own opinions.

well to start with all three jetbike units are like tank busting units. how many vechicles do you think the enemy is going to have?

I've never really had any succes with grotesques but i never thought of having a Archon with them.

also dump the Drachon and beef up your warrior squads with them as 5 isn't going to do anything and then the raider transport is worthless for 5 guys. Maybe take a haemonculus to take the grotesques. and give the incubi to the Archon.

You don't need three ravagers maybe 2 but still add more warriors with special weapons and the like

Good list; the following are just my preferences:

I'm not a big fan of Grots -- I'd loose them and take more wyches. Also, if you're going up against SM or Chaos regularly, I'd give at least one of my HQ units an agonizer.

I nearly always take a Talos. They are SO scary in HTH, that your opponent is going to be waisting a lot of fire on it, which then allows your fragile raiders and ravagers to get in position quicker. If he doesn't fire at the Talos, then when it gets into HTH, it'll make him pay.

oh yeah... make the dracon take a shadow field !!!! she's gonna get kicked dude

if you do put punishers on ur lords its not that bad.. really there is an article on {Ads-Protection} using this idea.

You can only take 1 shadow field per army: if I could take a second one believe me I would! And punishers are much better than agonisers. Against marines (with combat drugs and an animus vitae) they wound on 2's compared to the measly 4's of an agoniser. And at strength 6 they are also more effective against lightly armoured vehicles.

    sorry.. my mistake. I forgot.

In that case, I don't think you should have another lord. Just because.
Normally, It would be more effective with the survivalbility.
    THe "cheesier" the better.

Oh, and with the punisher, do you use the regular option for the claw thing(on the lord) and call it a punisher? Or do you have to do any converting? I won't mind doing the same depending on how it works..

Well, I havn't put the model together yet, so I havn't decided, but suggestions are very welcome. I suppose I could cut the claw off (weeping) and replace it with a punisher from an incubi, but as for the dracon, she already has that staff thingy which I will just call a punisher. As the tormentor helm and splinter pistol have the same stats, I won't fuss over the fact that she's holding a pistol but is equipped with a t.helm either.

Without the second dracon, where am I going to put my incubi? My archon is going with the grots, 'cause they will give him some serious protection from shooting (ignoring weapons below st 6) and auto breaking opponents in combat. I can agree with most people in that, in most cases, they are useless as they have to win the combat to auto break, and when led by a haemonculus that is rare. However, stick 'em with an archon and they will nearly ALWAYS win the assault, forcing the opponent to fall back without a morale check being made. Pretty neat eh?
