in the next edition of warhammer 40k the shoting is getting harder to win with! What is going to happen to tau? the balance will be destroyed! Tau will have no chance and orks will rule.
I meen shoting is almost as good when you move then when you stand still <_<

How are tau going to loose? jet packs moving 18" a turn.... railguns becoming even better at destroying vehicles... firing pulse rifles at max? seems good to me?

not to mention being able to move and rapid fire! that will help me out a lot. move back and rapid fire! that will kick @$$

How is shooting harder to win with? Oh... Because standard troops have to fire at the closest target or make their leadership test? And your tanks dont have too? Also a rail gun will penetrate anything now. You have a lot to go on, Orks pretty much only benefit from everyone gets to attack within 2 inches.

Heh, Orks will rule...Yeah, when they only move 6 inches a turn. If they get a transport and their transport is destroyed, they are pinned.

What they are trying to create here IS balance and a little different style of play. Everyone is going to have their strengths and weaknesses.

I dont want to be mean, but grow up. It is called adapting to the new rules.

Seems to me that the Tau will be even better in the new edition. Ap1=penetration instead of glancing. Just roll a 4+, and boom no land raider. Railguns, bane of tanks everywhere. Crisis suits were always good, and now.... a total of 18 inch movment! Be careful, slaughtering your friends armies with these babies will may quickly bring them to anger. "cheap, cheap, cheap." "the squad is 350 pts! For three guys! Thats not cheap." Oh wait, now we cant rapid fire with our firewarrior's pulse rifles before we charge. If you are charging anything, (besides maybe gretchins) with firewarriors, and winning, I want to meet you, for you are the greatest tactician of all time, or very very lucky. May the new rules help to futher the Tau'va!

Heh, Tau charging. I would rather double tap you with my pluse rifles. You do bring up a good point. Can Crisis suits move 12 and "jump" 6? I always thought they could only move 6. Anyway, that rocks for you Tau players. Move 12 out of cover, double tap the enemy that is within 12, than move back 6. They cant assault you or see you, win/win situation.

Tau really benefit from these new rules. There is not much to complain about.

Yea, crisis suits move 12, just like jump packs, and then get a six inch assult move in any direction, always. Same with stealth suits, and any unit (in any army) with jet-packs. At least thats what it says in the preveiw of the new rules officially released by games-workshop. Heres a link to it.

That should bring you to it. You're right though, in the old rules crisis suits moved six, then six.
