Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was just wondering if the Jetbike upgrade gives the Farseer a +1 T bonus for riding the bike.... also, has anyone ever converted one? If so, do you have any tips for me on how to do so?
Is that site official? Just wondering, cause they clarify a LOT of rules i never thought about.... :ph34r:
even if its not, its in the rules, models mounted on bikes (jetbikes included) get a +1 t bonus, but this does not count wen taking into effect instant death.
<insert witty remark here>
Its a compliation of many rules that arent in the codex, but were answered in various places..
Now does anyone have tips for modelling one? I wanted to get one to keep up with my hawks and Falcons... some modelling tips would be nice.... :lol: I think I'll post that in the Modelling section 'stead... <_<
Hate to burst your bubble, but as I remember, it quite directly says that Farseers may NOT take a jetbike.
So, the T question doesn't apply. Anymore at least.
If a tree falls in the forest, and it lands on a mime, does anyone care?
Where did you see that?! :huh: In the Codex it states that any Warlock included in a squad with a Farseert that IS MOUNTED ON A JETBIKE, must also take a jetbike.... so, i assume that the Farseer can, just from that little statement.... :rolleyes:Hate to burst your bubble, but as I remember, it quite directly says that Farseers may NOT take a jetbike.
If anyone has anything else about this, PLEASE, tell me.... <_<
There is no such rule.. Please we answered this no need to throw imaginary rules in to confuse people
Codex clearly states Farseer can have any wargear in the eldar armory, which includes jetbikes .. Neither says a farseer cannot have one
Calm down folks, there is a rule that farseers cn not ride jet bikes, but it only applies to Ulthwe - see the ulthwe section of Codex Craftworld.
Conversion: I have only ever tried this with the model holding a singing spear in hi right hand and a shuriken pistol in his left, cut off the left arm, replace with standard jet bike L Arm of sprue, cut in half at the waise, add the jet bike legs - add robes, presto. It is by far the most common conversion. However there is no pressing reason why a Farseer has to be wearing robes, I would be tempted to look at both Shining spears and Harlequin modes to provide jetbike inspiration
Everything you have been told is a lie!
