To use snikrot or not to use snikrot, that is my question to you. I have only used him once and I some good things to say and some bad. I was playing against a Smeldar palyer who started his whole army in reserve so I didn't get to really use his ability of sneaking up behind the enemy, but he did manage to kill his Farseer by himself. I don't like the fact that he doesn't have a BP or a PW but then he might be a little broken. I have one more question, how many Attacks will Snikrot get on the turn he charges? I can't tell if they already added the attack for having 2 CCB Weapons or not. Thanks for all who are willing to help.
Quantity is a quality all on its own.
Snikrot has worked out quite well for ==Me== so far. He doesn't need a power weapon as much with all those attacks at S6 with re-rolls, you've got Burnas to ingore armor anyway. Him and 15 of his closest buddies including 2 burnas can roll up a gunline extremely well.
With the loss of consolidating into combats I've been running smaller units of Kommandoz to sneak up, gank something and get gunned down.

Doesn't Snikkrot count towards the 15 model limit? The unit's maximum size is 15. Not 15 kommandos, but 15 models. I'm pretty sure the most he can bring with is 14 buddies.
Kommandos are tricky. What size should they be? What special guns should you give them? Snikkrot or a nob with a bosspole?
There's pluses and minuses to every choice. Personally, in order to be worth it, I think Kommandos need to do something that Deffkoptas can't do better, so nix the big shootas and rokkits. 9-15 kommandos with 2 burnas will be effective, but not if they're on the wrong side of the board...
I think Snikkrot is the better choice, as the best kommando units are close combat focused. The trick is, without a bosspole, they're not going to last very long in the shooting phase. I'd try to keep them in cover (not a problem since they have stikkbombs standard) or close combat as often as possible.
My unit of choice: 12 kommandos w/2 burnas + Snikkrot (13 models total) [235 points]
"Any job worth doing, is worth doing with a powerklaw."
Snikrot is fantastic, one of the strongest units in the dex. And you can take 15 kommandos with him, the wording says instead of upgrading a nob, you may "add" snikrot to the unit. Add being the key word here. He is not an upgrade, he is an addition to the unit.

Well, I like hard numbers to quantitatively evaluate units.
Straight up fighting, I compare Snikrot and a PK Nob vs MEQ (what I deal with most often at my LGS).
Snikrot kills 1.23 marines
Nob kills 1.25 marines
Snikrot would probably outperform vs. troops with no/light armour. Nob outperforms vs. heavy armor and vehicles. Nob can get a bosspole.
That's pretty close to even to me, so the difference then is the Ambush an Killa Reputation rules.
I don't really rate the Killa Reputation rule...maybe I'm "lucky", but I either win big or lose big...not much in between for me.
Ambush is hard to nail down, but I figure I've got a 2/3 chance to show up on the flank I want. What it comes down to is how many points this ability is worth for you. Snikrot is about 35 pts more than a nob with PK & pole.
I can't really decide, so I'm erring towards the side that gets me more boyz...I'm planning on PK Nob. That could be 3 more Kommandos, getting me 12 more attacks, which kills me 1 more MEQ!
(I bet my math will go out the window the first time I show up on a flank with no enemies to klomp and I just get shot down! )
