As there's not too much fluff about them are they "acceptable" fluff wise in any craftworld army?
And 40 points for 6 S6 shots a turn is the way to go right?
They are used by pretty much every craftworld out there.
I would recommend using Scatter Lasers instead, the walker will come out at 60 points but with 8 shots at 36" range. That extra range is really important here since you don't want your guys up close to the enemy - they'll get shot to bits.
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
I agree... being too close is deadly for walkers. That extra range is worth a lot for them.
If the radiance of a thousand suns
Were to burst at once into the sky,
That would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...
I am become Death,
The shatterer of Worlds.
They are totally fine in any craftworld. Some Iyanden struggle to put them in lists because wraithlords are the same spot. Samm hain uses them also but alot of people play Samm hain with all flying and ignore them. Having said that they are great, cheap tons of shots and get a scout move. Scatter lasers is my favorite load out but the shuriken cannons on outflanking ones works. The outflank gets them close to pour the shots into a unit before getting shot and they are cheap enough that if they die I'm generally not that sad.
love the walkers. love the walkers. they are your friend. cheap and shooty. and, they can typically stay wherever u deploy them!!
Warwalkers go very well with any eldar and can be very fluffy so to speak. In game 3 walkers with 2 scatter lasers and a farseer with guide near by are distructive to anlmost anything!
