If Mega nobz and other units with power klaws aways strike last why do they have stikkbombs?
It's basically a holdover from 4th edition. In 4th edition, if you assaulted an enemy hiding in or behind cover, the opposing unit's initiative became 10, allowing him to strike first, even with his powerklaws/fists. Since you wanted your powerklaws to attack at the same time as his, stikkbombs made sense.
Now there's really no point for meganobz to have them, since instead of increasing the opponent's initiative to 10, it reduces yours to 1. Since your initiative is 1 anyway, they really don't need them.
That, and they throw them at grots for kicks. ^_^
