Maby it is me who are late but did you guys see that mega nobz got 3 wounds insted of 2 in the 5th editions rule book. page 108(I think)
Probably a typo, if they don't have them in the codex, they don't have them. Codex takes precedance over the rulebook.

hmm someone should research this. because if the rule book came out after the codex this 3 wound thing may have some life. regardless if codexes usally have president over general rules. i would think the latest book is correct.
Sigh...we just did this a second ago with zzzap guns and 'auto hitting'.
I'm not sure why they said those two things in the 5th edition rulebook, but the rulebook also clearly states that the codex takes precedence over anything listed in the 5th edition rules.
Zzzap guns don't automatically hit and meganobz don't have 3 wounds. Just go by the codex and the official errata/FAQ.

I'm srry I missed that the codex takes precendence. Skipped it cause I tought it was fluff. My bad.
Have to be careful with that statement. It definitely applies to the appendix in the back as those are just example charts. However there are a lot of updated rules where the 5th ed rulebook takes presedence.
The correct answer is that codex special rules override general 5th ed rulebook rules.

You do have to be careful with the Rule Book and its somewhat peculiar typo tendency. Wave Serpents of the Eldar for instance would have front armour 2. Best to always consider the codex the correct sourse for information if there's a conflict.
It is very difficult to catch every typo during revision - and professionally I don't mind. But.. is it just me or does it seem like GW doesn't revise their books at all?
I've recently become a fan of this thing called Dubstep. And you should too.
