Thanks to Alex2284 for inspiring this post with his pregnant Eldar post.
How many of you have modelled Eldar objectives and what have you done?
I'm currently mulling over three in my head based on the bits I have in my bits box.
1 - Titan head - It's already been done in White Dwarf, but hey, I have a spare titan head so it seems a good use for it. Plan is to model some crash damage and such
2 - Bonesinger - I bought this limited edition a while back but then havev't really done anything with it. I though I could model him on a suitably big base and use for an objective that is placed in my deployment zone. Fluff is that he is working on building the frontline operations much as in the "Dawn of War" games and I would need to protect him
3) Some sort of ruined webway portal or suitably Eldar looking architecture. Not quite sure what exactly.
Any ideas I can pinch from the rest of you?
After I left my Warp Spiders to dry near an open window, a very windy day caused a mishap and they got sucked out the window. One was forever lost to the Warp ( down a storm drain) and the exarch lost his warp pack, so I made him an objective. Basic story, my forces need to reclaim the armour so that the Exarch's legacy can continue!
It's nothing great but made use of what I had.
It's part of my overall terrain theme (The Koridai Craftworld) but the garden I planned to hide it in got smashed about and fell to pieces.

I was considering grabbing some gems and glass stones from a hobby shop and using them in clusters to represent the Eldar Spirit stones. Fluff wise you could say that theres already been a battle and the Eldar lost, your there to gather the stones and finish the job.
I am currently working on a eldar crashed night wing pilot basically it is the upper body of the jetbike rider with a head swap and put on guardian legs the modle has a shriken pistol in one hand and the other hand is clutching at his chest which is bleeding he is wearing no helmet and he is bleeding form just above his eye as well
Like the crashed pilot idea as I run aircraft in my Apoc games and it will fit well.
Also like the "retrieve the armour" idea.
I also just had the idea of using the Apoc tank upgrade gizmo to act as some kind of data collection drone that has crashed / gone wrong and needs to be collected.
You could always go for a webway portal. This could be used as either they have to shut it down before it gets breached by something truly nasty or they are trying to reactivate it so they can bring in a larger army.

For a less elaborate objective/loot marker, I just glued the Dire Avenger shrine things from the Dire Avengers box set. I've got 4 of them made, almost enough for a full set.

I had an idea the other day of a crashed escape pod (maby use the windscreen from a falcon or wave serpant) with an eldar civilian standing outside of it. It would be a pretty easy conversion if you use some high or wood elf bits for the civilian. Fluff wise maby he/she needs to be rescued before the enimy gets to him/her and finds out where the eldar are waiting.
one hundreth and first post for me
if there is one thing every eldar player has, its a nice hefty stash of heavy weapons bits. a small hoard on a flying base or big base could always be used to represent a stash of eldar weaponry, and we all know how we feel about letting our superior technology fall into the hands of the enemies. also, another idea could involve race specific objective markers. if you are playing a daemon or chaos player, take a slaanesh char, muddle him up a little bit, maybe cut a leg off, and make it so the eldar either have her prisoner or are trying to capture her for information related to the fluff of slaanesh. for a space marine, a crashed biker could be used, on and on and on. sure, it would take a lot of work, but if you like modeling new stuff, it would give you a chance to flex your conversion muscles a little bit.
