I know most people don't really like the Warrior brood but I really like them and plan on making a list based off warriors and probably a Hive Tyrant. I specifically like the Huntsman gene of the Warriors and also checking the codex that if they are winged they count as a Fast Attack choice. To me they are very very customizable and very useful. But anyways, down to what I meant to say. I would like ti very much if someone could help me make a Warrior Brood List based mostly on Warriors, I know it probably sounds dumb but past experiences show that they are indeed a well flexibility unit that can be suited for many battle roles.

Ahh, Warriors are fun. I know some people eye them with suspicion but they are very good at times. I think that a list based on Warriors will not be the easiest to win with but it will be cool either way. I would suggest that you have different units with different jobs but also different point's values. You could have a cheapish brood (by Warrior standards). To make them work but be cheap you could have extended carapace, rending claws and scything talons. This would be 27 points per Warrior. A brood with deathspitters a barbed strangler and toxin sacs is needed, boomity-boom! I think you will find this will be an army that needs to use it's guns and assaults well.
Yes! Finally someone agrees with me that Warriors are awesome ^_^ Ima try to make a list tonight since im going to the Game Room to get some matches in. When I can i'll add to the post and tell me what u think of it. Ok Leech?

Warriors are awesome. Nobody likes to see two-wound models that can't be insta-killed. I run Deathspitter-Spinefist Warriors and Deathspitter-Toxin Sac-Scything Talons Warriors myself. Your biggest problem (of course) will be tanks. For that reason I would still use fexes in my Heavy support slots. Leech's advice is about what I would say regarding the Warrior builds, so I'll spare you a repeat. If it were me, though, I don't know if I would be able to resist a brood of three Winged Leaping CCers. 24 inch CC threat!! Good luck on your experimentation!
You can also consider how strict you will be in creating an swarm of Tyranid warriors or an swarm of Warriors and their variants. Lictors (not so good) and Zoanthropes (very good) can be used. There are also Tyrant guard for your Hive tyrant. I think this swarm's advantage is that it will mainly consist of medium sized models. Most armies use lots of smaller troops, (whatever is standard infantry in that army) and have few Terminators or Crisis suits. Your disadvantage is a lack of numbers. Your advatage is that your models will all be powerful. Also many single shot weapons such as railguns and lascannons will be near useless for the small amount of damge they can do to one Warrior a turn.
Sorry...cant be leaping and winged. Also cant be winged and have extended carapace. Makes for very expensive, very squishy warriors. They look cool though....
Warriors are awesome models...but they are pretty much always too expensive for what they do. I am trying really hard to make them worth it and have been running a DS brood that has had some success.
To make a list based on a majority of warriros would be expensive both $ wise and point wise, but I would love to see it done. Give us a battle report if you make it happen...

basically, make a list, we want pictures, and battle reps. but imagine placing 72 warriors on the table...... lol along with pictures, we want pictures of the dudes face if possible. =D
No sig required.
cool idea. and it would look quite striking too.
remember that they're not monstrous creatures so can't fire two different weapons systems in the same turn.
also think about raveners because they are pretty much just warriors without synapse but very close combat orientated.
what would you do for your troops choices? could just use all those ripper bases that come with the warrior kits haha. even if they can't score. just kill all the enemy so they can't score.
I think a balance is needed between shooting warriors (Death Spitter with Toxin Sacs and ST) and CC Warriors. Also, a cloud of Spine gaunts would really help, just to give your warriors a 4+ cover save for quite some time.
Only add 2 carnifexes to silence tanks, and I think you're all set.
As for the CC Warriors, I think their cost would almost equal that of Raveners with ST and Rending. You might want to take that into account, and look where you think the breakpoint is to use Warriors instead of Raveners. Personally, I think warriors with Rend, ST, Adrenal (I) and Leaping could work if the group is big enough. This would net in 35 pnt/model, and is below that of the Ravener.
But then the Raveners have +1 WS, +1 A and fleet of foot for +5 pts, while your warriors will have Synapse. If you could keep the Raveners withing synapse, then the Rav's would be quite superior to the given warriors kit-out.
Oh, in case any one wonder why someone would take (random weapon) and Spine fist, is that without toxin sacs, spine fist are cheaper then Scything Talons. But with toxin sacs, you should look if closer, because then the cost are equal! And you might then choose to take the extra attack in CC (which is at S5, not too shabby).

why cant they be insta killed?
