Welcome to Librarium Online!
this question includes using the exark
but i personaly like banchies cuz of the pwer weapons how ever lack of spead means u would need to have something like a wave serpent assist
every aspect has a job it does and can really only do that job, so comparing aspects is always hard. i love warp spiders. they are my favorite. they are awesome in the game (specially the new rules) move 12, fire, pop back, or give the exarch surprise assualt and the unit turns into a cc machine! and i think the exarch is the coolest model in the eldar army.
their death spinnerd ahve really awesome fluff too, as well as the whole aspect. if u ahvent read the battle between and imperial guard regiment and the eldar, in the view of the warp spider exarch in the front of the eldar codex...you should.
<insert witty remark here>
As Salamander said, your question is a little naf, best at what? shooting marines a long way off? Banshees? I think not. it is rather pie in the sky anyway, people all have their own favourites for various reasons, me I love hawks cos I love to paint them but the thing they are by far the best at on the field is dieing
Everything you have been told is a lie!
After roughly translating your post, I came to the conclusion that I too prefer howling banshees. The power weapons are nice, fleet of foot is handy, the exarch kicks butt and the warshout isnt so bad. However, heavy bolters chew them up so
I would mount them in a Falcon or Wave Serpant everytime (especially in the new edition). Next I would say warp spiders. I love the idea behind them - and if they play there cards right, can stay in rapid fire range all the time without going into enermy charge range. Coupled with a 3+ save, S6 weapons and fast speeds they rock for the cost of under 3 gaurdians. Worst are shining spears. 50 points is a rip off
A Promise to a dead man means nothing.
I agree with the Howling Banshees, they are so great, but in their first round of combat, then they get hard pwned. I am also kind of torn between striking scorpions and them because the striking scorpions get the better save and have the extra strength in close combat, coupled with the extra attack right as they get into combat.
My love is a rollercoaster.
Mad Props to Angel_of_Rust for the sig.
Based on combat effectiveness banshees look good on paper. But I find I have more successes with scorpions. The higher armor and improved strength make them deal some pain.
So in my eldar army you will most likely find a unit of scorpions charging down the field.
What an original question <_<
I would have to say Dire Avengers, because I think their cool, they're not that good on the battlefield, but I like them. Also, I think they have the best Phoenix Lord... *cough* go Asurmen *cough*
For best combat effectiveness, I would say Scorpions, because I generally do well when using them.
You cannot win, for to fight us is to give us power.
Im tied with Two Scorpions and Reapers. I love the god assults i get with them. And i really havent had to many problems with them going second cause they usually have the better inative. Plus the fluff is cool about their fallen Phoenix Lord. (cant think of the original ones name.) IF any one finds any info on him please pm me cause i would like to know more about what happened to him. And then theirs the Dark Reapers. Ive just had a lot of luck with them and taking out people.
Church: So let me get this straight you gave the guy our flag.
Caboose: Is that bad?
Church: Bad, bad, no next why dont you just help him blow up the whole god @#%& base.

Reapers. Always. Of course, I'm an ex-Ulthwe player, so I may be a bit biased. But still. DR rock against any army -- they're great SMurf killers, and an Exarch with Fast Shot and an EML against anyone is just plain scary.
Im very new to Eldar and have no gaming experience with them but I do know that each aspect has its own specialty. Since they are all the best at doing their own job I will have to base my choice on other things. I would pick the Warp Spider aspect for a few reasons. First, their teleporting ability makes them good for hit and fade (so I hear) and second, they have some of the coolest looking models in the eldar range (especially the exarch).
