hellow im playing against a space marine player and i would like some help in beating him i dont whant to lose my 9 game winning streak.
i know he is going to bring 8 termys with thunder hammers and some sort of shield with lysander and a venrable dreadknought the only thing the necron have to deal with a whole bunch of 2+ armour and 3+ invul save is the deciver the nightbringer and the warscyth fear doods though i know those suck. i think he is also going to bring a land raider a couple of rhinos and more termys in the land raider.
its going to be a 2000pts list or a 1750pts list so what do i do
I kill you i win. You kill me you lose
With all that heavy armor, you should bring several heavy destroyers, they'll do well against the termies and landraider. Other than that, a few destroyers and plenty of warriors and you should be good.
Feel free to pester him with a monolith or two.

Actually in a situation like this PAriahs and a C'tan are your best options. If he's gonna fight hardcore, fight back harder. Pariahs will be able to rip through his puny terminators no sweat, throw a lord with gaze of flame , phase shifter and warscythe in for support. I'd say 8-10 man squad for pariahs you need the extra attacks. You HAVE to get this squad into the terminators for effect though. The Deceiver is also always fun to use with pariahs, send his tactical squads running with deceive when they're at LD7. (man I wanna try this kinda list now ><)
Make sure you have plenty of warriors around, weight of fire can get you a long way. Also Tomb spyders tend to mop up marines, who seldom expect such a small unnasuming thing to crush their power armor so thoroughly. Destroyers and Immortals are always good bets they hit hard from range which is where you hold the advantage. As Aetherguy said, perhaps a HD or three to take care of Land raiders and start pinging the terminators. But unfortunately with the storm shield saves you can't expect much.
what about lysander i think he has a powerweapon as well as a powerfist he will strike before my pariahs killing most of them. i dont have any tomb spyders and only 5 destroyers to proxy into other things with that size base.if its 1750pts il go with 30 warroirs if its 2000pts il go for 40.
can you take 2 ctan that would be nice if i had bolth.
I kill you i win. You kill me you lose
I find the best thing to use against termies is a volley of shots. Their saves are just too good. You'll need to make them roll a fecal-ton of dice for their saves so they'll inevitably roll 1's. Use Immortals, destroyers, or at very least, well-placed warriors. I find that for taking out groups of marines or tanks, you'll want at LEAST 2 Monoliths. Way more bang for your buck than heavy destroyers. Last game I played, I took out 8 marines with one well-placed particle whip.
Necrons ~4500pts / Orks ~2000pts / Thousand Sons ~750pts
HOW TO LIGHT A MONOLITH
Lysander doesn't have a power weapon, only a thunder hammer.
No you may not use 2 C'tan. Besides being beardy, this would cost so many points that your army wouldn't have anything else to give.
*jumps about excitedly* ooh ooh! give your lord a nightmare shroud too! he can fear things in the shooting phase that way! and they'll be Ld7 within 12"!
Fear list! Now just throw in some flayed ones for fodder and you're all set!
As Alzer said the LD 7 caused by the Pariah plus the nightmare shroud is a great tactic for termies. The pariah must assault said unit with supreme numbers 10 works great. I have done this, not only do you clear out the termies but you will scare your opponent so he/she will turn the bigger stuff to that unit. Thats where VOD comes into play. A lord that runs with pariah have no busness having res orb (other than themselves) but the VOD nightmare shroud combo is great. Kill the termies the oppenent turns his big guns, fires on his turn hope that the unit is not taken out. Then just VOD elsewhere on the battlefield. The opponent has to deal with that unit. Inturn use your warriors and other support units to put some serious hurt down. Ive used it it worked great twice got hammered once (Dark eldar just too fast) Hope this helps
Alzer had some nice suggestions but I'm going to contradict him a little, No offence intended Alzer.
A fear list combined with the rally rule of Sm means you have a Point sink on your hands. I would not go paraihs as well to expensive and no phase out. so to get lot of models and some nice CC maybe consider this.
Lord: Orb, Phase shifter, D. Body, Warsyth
Ok basic tactics here. Shoot everything at the raiders and all else at rhino's. get his vehicles Immobilised is good enough It takes away his speed which will save you. After that fly in the Wraith Flight (Lord and 6 Wraiths) on the closest Termi Unit and Pown his *ss with Warsyth attacks. another Need trick I learned was to use the wraiths to surround a vehicle (cover all exits) and then force a penetrating hit with the Lord. all his models have to exit but since you are within 1"of his exits he can't the Unit is Now DEAD!! it's a hard trick to pull of but when you do it's Great fun
so Basic tactic is to shoot things into submission and then counter charge and annoy with the Wraith Flight. Drop in the Monolith and Boom see him Cry .

And Jayz your list has plenty of potential, I'll post one of my own I suppose, just for suggestions.
HQ: Deceiver - xxx
HQ: Lord, Phase shifter, Nightmare shroud, Gaze of flame, Warscythe. - 180
ElT: Pariahs x8 - 288
ElT: Immortals x10 - 280
Trp: Warriors 3x11- 594
HS: Tomb Spyders x2 - 110
For 2K I suggest adding a Monolith and some spare warriors or flayed ones. good luck!
