It's the most recent Idea I've come up with to build an experimental army around.
Build an army that follows one or both of the following rules.
1. Has something that must be resolved on a D6 for a random chaotic result. (hence, unreliable, unpredictable)
Also, I think I will lean towards D6 rolls that could be good or bad (i.e. Trukks Ramshackle Rule as Opposed to D6 Deffrolla or D3 Loota attacks.)
2. Get something that is thought to be a "waste of points" or a general "unreliable" unit by the majority of the Ork community. (in these forums..or anywhere else you find 40k'ers)
Also, as a side note...anything that has the potential to make a really big BOOM!! (like Looted Wagons..etc) or is unnessecarily decked out in crazy, overkill upgrades will definitely be seriously considered!
Without a doubt, I will be including the following.
a. Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun and hope for doubles.....OH what fun!!
b. Weirdboy, probably Warphead or Zogwort! I would love to see what could happen with this guy!
2. Rokkit Boyz with Zagstruk for Deep-Striking Chaos.
Unreliable and sucky, Yes. Hilarious and funny if he actually hits! Damn Straight! Plus it's a guaranteed D6 every turn!
3. Trukks, for the Ramshackle Rule.
Whatever kills them, makes them faster!!
4. TankBustas, Because of Bomb Squigs and the Glory Hog Rule!!
5. Flash Gitz (Because nobody loves them) and they roll a d6 for Armor penentration.
They will also take a Painboy--Because they CAN!! and possibley Kapt. Badrukk.
6. Looted Wagons---for the BoomGun and Don't Press Dat
7. Zzap guns. for the random 2d6 Str!
I may also include the following Rejects.
1. 'Ard Boyz!! nobody likes them becuz they're 'Ardy Orks that had a few extra teef to buy some armor. Also, I probably need a regular Troop...and Regular Boyz are just too reliable. Probably 20x Hard Boys Sluggas and 20x Shootas that Will be led by a Weird Boy.
2. Deffkoptas with BigBomms and Buzz-saws!
3. Any other upgrades that are generally considered a "waste of points"
So that's my Basic idea...I know that I'm playing with some terrible units, but I don't care...because I want this theme to be all about FUN!!
Despite that, I'll still play the best I can with the cards I'm dealt (or in this case, the rolls). I would also like suggestions for different Army builds and units that might work well with this theme!!
I'm willing to except a few of dem' standard Orderly Gitz just to balance out the fun and whacky side this army (perhaps a standard doctor prescribed order of Boyz with a PK)

I like the concept! I think I am going to copy it as it also sounds a lot of fun/diversity while painting the models.

How about an assaulty Grot Mob? Nobody ever uses them explicitely for offense, and they could be a comical support element for da 'Ard Boyz ('Ard Gitz!!)

Imagine 30 "ard" Grots, under the charge of da Mad Dok. It fits the bill perfectly, since they'll have to charge towards the nearest foe.. always.. Its not d6" random, but you still have no idea who they're going to hit in the end!
Edit: Then accompany them with Mega Nobz.. you'll have da whole 'Ard Mob working in unison. Mega Nobz, 'Ard Boyz, and 'Ard Gitz!! Its so retarded it just might work.

I can just imagine a bunch of Top-heavy Grotz running around trying to assault things with their puny stats.
The only problem I have with that is I wanted to use both an SAG and a Warphead as my HQ!! If I had to though, I think I could probably drop the Shokk Attack gun...or perhaps ask my opponent if they don't mind if I take an extra HQ just for fun (and I could work something out---maybe let my opponent have an extra HQ or lower the SAG stats)
You know, it says the Big Mek can take a warbike... And no one ever fields him with one, maybe give him a burna or a KFF AND a bike? Just a thought
And flash gitz are universally shunned by the ork kommunity. Use them, Badrukk is a pretty bad ass model anyway, his gun fits your concept perfectly too.

Between the Warp 'Ead and the SAG Mek.. If you were looking for something to drop, I'd say get rid of the SAG Mek. Indeed, he's awesome, but you can replace him with a mob of Big Gunz w/ Zzap Guns.
And when it comes to swapping him out.. da Mad Dok is fairly random, especially if you use his ability on Grots! Seriously... 30 Grots with a 5+ inv save and 4+ FNP save... its just too retarded!! xD
But.. I'd kind of though to use them not so much as a permanant addition to the list, but an extra option to swap it up and keep things interesting.
I'm sorry, my brain just exploded... you could attach the Warp'ead to 'em too, to add deepstriking craziness!
