I have a question. In the Tau codex it states that a Pathfinder has a Pulse Carbine "with" a markerlight. Does this mean it only counts as one weapon so it can fire them both??? Or can it shoot one or the other just like seperate weapons???
They can fire either, not both. The pulse carbines give you something to shoot if you move.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
The BRB states that an infantry model may only fire one ranged weapon per turn. So you must choose whether the pathfinder will fire it's markerlight or it's pulse carbine.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

you could shell out points and givea target lock to your commander allowing the unit to fire carbines/lights at one thing and him to fire his carbine or light at another.
