how does this work which set of special rules will work
harlequins force all shooting attacks against them to roll a 2d6 X2 for range if the models are not withing range after the roll they are not allowed to fire
flashgitz allow you to measure range before they choose a target.
which rule takes president
i dont use gitz or quins so i really dont care but just wanted to know in case one day i do.
Hmmm, well the Gitfinder says "When shooting, Flash Gitz may measure to see if they are in range before declaring their target."
And the Shadowseer ability says "Any enemy wishing to target the Shadowseer or the unit she is with must rool 2D6x2."
Because the Gitz ability is before selecting a unit you'd get to check they are at least in the range of the standard snazzgun BUT if you choose the harlequins with a shadowseer then you would still have to modify the range since this is done AFTER selecting them as a target.
Very keen, Russ.
But, since you're allowed to measure distance, you can use this to your advantage by comparing the true distance measured to the statistical average spotting distance.
Hey, the only thing Flash Gitz are good for! +1 Points for Flash Gitz (not unit cost.. just.. points, you know.. the one's that determine how cool you are.)
I've recently become a fan of this thing called Dubstep. And you should too.

That's a nice ability of the Shadowseer! I hadn't checked it out unitl the question was posed. It pretty much nullifies any long range attacks...although this doesn't seem to handicap Shoota Boyz that much! Yet another reason to take them!
