Alright I have the orks from BFBR plus an orc shaman model (weirdboy). I want to complete the army but did not know the best value/viability. I am thinking the green wave and a box of grots or 2 battlions and a battle wagon.
First of all, welcome to the Orks. Have you checked out the topic in the Ork 2008 index called 'the basics'? If not, then I'd definitely check it out. A few people, including myself, put it together as a beginner's guide to Orks.
As for what to buy, it depends if you want numbers or speed. If you want numbers, then I'd get at least 40-60 more boyz, and divide them into 2-3 units of 20-30 boyz. I'd also grab a unit of grotts, for objective grabbing, and at least one fast troop for grabbing distant objectives (the 'seize ground' mission is all but impossible to win otherwise).
If you want speed, then you'll need several vehicles, and enough boyz to fill them. Bikes (either normal or biker nobz), rokkit buggies, and other fast units also work well.
If uncertain, try and split another assault on black reach set with someone (deffkoptas work best in units of 5 or 1, and the boyz never hurt), and just get some more boyz on top of that. That'll be more than enough to get started.
I wouldn't get the battleforce unless you're certain you want the bikes. You'll eventually need 5-6 bikes or they won't be effective.
In any case, good luck!

Alright after reading that I think I will buy 2 battalions and a battle wagon. That will give me boss w/ pwr claw, 6 nobz & painboy, 6 bikers,2 trukks, 3 deff kopta's w/ t/l rockits, 15 grots with slaver, 60 boyz & a weirdboy, what next?

RecklessFable's Journey to Mediocrity (Painting an IG army)
I've been addicted to World of Tanks lately and neglecting my IG... But it is so... much... fun!
Iam starting to feel like the mech ork build is going to play simliar to my witch hunter only instead of shooting I will be assaulting. Is their any viability to a walking list ?
Yes a footslogging Ork list is very viable. With mobs of 30 or so Ork Boyz, the enemy has a very hard time running away. That said, really fast lists like Mech Eldar and the like have a better chance at picking and choosing where they attack. Kommandoz are a great help in a fooslogging list as they can outflank and attack the enemy before you get to grips with them.

Foot sloggers need a few things to be effective, mind you..
+Big Mek w/ KFF: The 5+ cover save is invaluable to your boyz
+Shootas: Shoota boyz are, in many of our opinions, better than slugga boyz. Despite the low BS, the ability to attack at range reduces the pains of having low mobility, and the overwhelming number of shots more than makes up for their low accuracy, as well as the lost combat attack.
+A few fast choices.. Rokkit Buggies are great for ranged-anti tank.. a biker mob or two, to tie up shooty units (Like Devastators) and assist da Boyz with a second furious charge in the second turn of combat..
+Transports for slugga boyz, either Trukks or Battlewagons.
+One small unit of Grots to claim the home objective
EDIT: And PK's in every Boyz mob.. shoota or slugga.. every Nob needs one! Its da law!
