I'm getting ready to start painting my 6 strong squad of jetbikes, and those large canopies are just asking to be painted with insane freehand stuff. I've gotten significantly better at controlling the pressure of my brush strokes and feel I'm ready to try my hand at a large freehand piece. So I ask this one question; does anyone have any crazy freehanded jetbikes to show off? I'm doing Altansar themed, so I'd prefer black, greys, and reds mostly, although I could easily adopt a set of colors into my color scheme.
Well, I took a little stroll over to deviantart, and I think I have a winner. I'm going to try to replicate the warp look in this picture. http://the-first-magelord.deviantart...ravel-82403365 It'll be very challenging seeing as I don't have much experience with blending, but it will be an interesting challenge to get the right look to it. Altansar came back from the eye of terror, so I figured, hey, might as well model that on the jetbikes.
P.S. I'm jealous of your runes, especially the ones on the shuriken catapults
