Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm looking to get my flatmate some Pathfinders for his birthday but have noticed that they only sell them in packs of 3. he wants them for the useful benefits of the Markerlights, but every site I've had a quick check in only has them as sets of 3. Does anyone know if there is anywhere to get them on their own apart from a lucky find on Ebay?
Any help would be much appreciated.
GW only sells the pack of 3 sadly, unless you want to pay for the Shas'ui (but don't).
Why only single guys tho? Are you just trying to hit the 4 man min (or 8 man max)?
I looked around for awhile and eventually gave up on that route myself, but the ebay action is your best bet.
Knowing my flatmate's preference for units, he would prefer to get a Shas'ui model as well. He's quite a good painter so likes having models with WYSIWYG. Still, is there evern any difference between the Shas'ui model and a normal one? Form what i saw of the two, the only difference is the pose and that the Shas'ui comes with a drone of some kind.
The trouble is that the Shas'ui pose is what makes him stand out from the rest as the team leader, so using that model as a standard PF would mean having to identify the unit's 'Ui by some other method. That of course is not hard - a paint stroke/bonding knife attached or something similar is all that would be needed.
GW haven't been terribly helpful with their three-pack! It makes getting an 8-man team with 'Ui rather awkward. I'm afraid I don't really know of anywhere other than Ebay where you could get single Pathfinders, and even Ebay would not be a very likely source either.
