If I get a hardwired system on my suit...

It WONT use up a hard point right? So I can have a missile pod, a plasma rifle, a hardwired target lock and a targeting array on the suit all at the same time assuming it can take "additional options from the battlesuit wargear list" right?

Sorry for the noobish question, I've been reading on the forums and things don't seem to add up.

I thought Rikimaru said that it was illegal in one of his posts
    But I misread his post

But the codex says I can...unless I am misreading the codex.

Edit: Red stuff is edited...sorry Riki

Hard wired items never take up a hard point.

Yes, you are right that hard-wired systems do not take up a hardpoint. Thus, a Team Leader/Shas'vre suit with Plasma Rifle, Missile Pod, Targetting Array, HW Multi Tracker and HW Target Lock is a very effective choice.

As for Rikimaru... He's only human. You hear that Riki?!? Human! ONLY human!

    That's right. I went there.

Excuuusssse me, only human!!!! I am Monkey Ninja. I do not make errors, though I may appear to be wrong do not be deceived, it is all a part of my overall plan for total forum domination. First the forums and then the world. You will all bow to the power of the Monkey Ninja and you won't even see it coming.

Yeah, it's the fact that the Monkey Ninja hides behind a penguin that makes it so hard to see!

    *ducks*

Anyway, back OT: you're correct, a Hard-wired system doesn't use up any hard points and yes you can use that configuration you mentioned. It is known as a Fireknife+ and is usually seen as the suit of preference for a Shas'el as it weighs in at 97pts.

Some say that when he uses a computer he’ll have an outbreak of the hives and that he can’t float in water and that alone is why he’s afraid of ducks…

Some say that when he goes in to get his *army* shined that he has to be put under horse tranquilizers and the color of his urine is white so you can never really tell if he’s pee’d his suit…

Some say that he thinks that the word ”procreate” is someone who is a professional at being creative and that he once attempted to learn how to swim and almost drowned in one foot of water…

Some say that had a car built in a bomb shelter but can’t get it out and that his right foot weighs 3.14159 grams (which is pi) heavier than his left foot…

Some say that he once was the escape driver for the US President and for the Queen at the same dinner ball and hated it and that he once played checkers against James May and won… all we know is that he’s called Rikimaru..

Are you actually comparing the simian Ninja to the enigmatic Stig?

The Stig is a mere pitiful enigma, Rikimaru sneers (quietly for he is a Ninja) at enigma's, being an enigma is for amateurs.

Observe the Penguin for he and he alone knows the workings of the Ninja and fear the Duck and other related members of the Fowl genus for they are Satan's lubricant.

Remember somewhere, somehow the Monkey Ninja is always watching.

Methinks this thread has served its purpose and while fun would be best meeting the fate of those who oppose the simian, death (or at least a headache)
