Howdy all, I'm a Space Marine player recently konverted to Da Waaaagh!
Just thought I would stop by and say Hi, and I will be posting a army list soon so all you veterans out there can rip it apart and show me the errors of my way!

Even though Orks probably aren't as popular as Space Marines (I Would consider them to be probably the 2nd most popular...always playing second fiddle to the over-rated Marines...kinda like Daffy Duck is to BugsBunny)...err...where was I going with this?
Even though Orks aren't as popular as Marines, they're a helluva a lot more fun!! They've got tons of crazy untis that do Random things, they're fun to convert, and they even have a few unexpected surprises up their sleeves that a lot of people don't expect!
So yeah, let's see that list!

There are a few rules all Orks must follow. The first and most important is every Boyz mob MUST be upgraded to have a Nob with Power Klaw and Boss Pole. It's da law!!
Other than that, you need Boyz Boyz Boyz and more Boyz. If you're footslogging, use Shootas and a Big Mek with a Kustom Force Field. If you're mekanized, use Slugga Boyz with no upgrades on your Trukks except Reinforced Rams. Again, Big Mek with Kustom Force Field.
Follow these rules and you'll do alright. Most importantly, though.. I've never played a game with Orks and haven't had fun! So the rule that precedes the first and is even more most important. Have a damn good time!

Aye, fair enough. It kind of irks me a little that giving the only model in a Boyz mob with better Initiative a weapon that robs him of that advantage is the norm, but the benefits are so apparent that I can't really argue.
But I'll NEVER give my Warboss a PK! NEVER, YOU HEAR?!!?!?!?!
Without a Power Klaw he is wasting the opportunity to ignore armor saves, you miss out on a S10 anti-tank can opener of amazingness.
That measly 25 Points nets you an 85pt model that comes in with 5 S10 WS 5 attacks that ignore armor saves. The other options just make him a lackluster waste of an HQ slot.
