I was browsing the GW site and found the rather cool stat line for the spike rifle... Sadly it doesn`t tell me the cost for this weapon, can anyone enlighten me? Or, if it will break copyright laws... tell me where to look/what book to buy? <_<
Thanks in advance

and secondly where can i get these guns? or do i ahve to convert them myself?
<insert witty remark here>
You have to convert 'em

The link Durandal left above has a link to how to convert additional bio-weapons... the spike rifles are easy... not sure about the strangle web tho coz I haven`t looked into them.....Originally posted by Cheese!@Aug 9 2004, 18:43

you dont HAVE to convert them. They're on 2nd edition termagants. You can probably find some on eBay, and worst case scenario I'm sure the GW archives has them. I got a dozen spike rifles in a 2e termagant batch I got off eBay a while back.
They arent that difficult to convert anyway! I mean get a fleshborer and stick some flesh hooks out of the "barrel" of it... and the strangle is just the end of a venom cannon stuck on a fleshborer... simple coversions if you ask me....
Anyway I have used a brood spike rifles but they didnt do much as the time they were in range I was already in cc with the enemy, mainly due to poor fleet of foot rolls and difficult terrain test for the spike rifles and excellent rolls for the hormagaunts... <_<
Anyway I suspect strangle webs would be good in seeding swarms... deepstriking and causing some enemy units to be pinned would be pretty good! stop them from shooting! which is always good

i have used both spikerifle and strangleweb against spacemarines and chaos and its not worth getting when facing these armies because they just sit there shooting and doing 1 wound every 3 turns.
