As I expand my force into a more mechanized one, I'm planning on getting three additional tanks. Two Fire Prisms, and a 3rd Wave Serpent to round off my 1750 army to 5 tanks. Now here's the issue, I'm going to be purchasing the Cloudstrike squadron boxed set from the local battle bunker, effectively netting me a free Falcon(since the box costs $90, the price of two regular priced Falcons for a total of three in total). Seeing as I already own two Wave Serpents, making the turret and extended cargo bay should be relatively straightforward for me. The question remains, how am I going to do the prism cannons? I've looked through all five pages of CMoN and found nothing in the way of Fire Prism conversions. So now I turn to you, the people of Librarium Online for inspiration towards a scratchbuilt prism cannon. Anyone have any pictures?

I've looked and the turret sprues are quite hard to find by themselves. You could buy a Fire Prism for less than the RRP from giftsforgeeks or ebay but I think it would probably be cheaper altogether if you were to scratchbuild a Prism Cannon and mount it on a Wave Serpent or Falcon. I can't see that they would be very difficult to make.
You ask and you shall receive.
Eldar Fire Prism Cannon Upgrade Bits
I too am converting a falcon but im going to try to use a fake crystal and make my own housing.
I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
I've trawled through so many different searches and have never been able to find a UK store that sells the Prism cannon bitz. Which is really annoyng as I would happily throw money at bitz sites if they had what I wanted. A lot of the US ones have delivery to the UK but it's only really worth it if ou are going to buy a lot of things at once.
you could go to your local craft store or pet store actually. Craft shops normally have some type of imitation crystal for modelling purposes. I got mine at a aquarium. I used black crystals that were meant to decorate a fish tank. If you can find the right size its golden
If you have a spare wave serpent weapons sprue, the side bits that are meant to cap off the little axle the weapons are on might be useful. It's always handy to have some pre-fab bits on a job like this
I've got two extra pairs of the endcap shielding panels for the Wave Serpent panels along with two other full aspect warrior plastic trays worth of bitz, I should be good for any of the more common bits on this one. The only thing I need to build is the metal bitz themselves as a.) they cost like $25US for a single prism at thewarstore, and b.) I'd rather not have to deal with the sagging problems that the metal one has in regards to glueing plastic onto basically a plastic stick for support. The Falcon turrets themselves I'll already have, as I'm buying the couldstrike 3 Falcon set, so that part is already covered.
