I've been working on painting my first Gretchin mob and I decided to try something a little different.
Instead of going for the standard light Green that GW suggests, I thought it would be cool to try something a little more like an "off yellowish, brownish orangeish" color palette. I think the "yellow" idea fits since them Grots are a cowardly bunch!
So far, I've only done a Gretchin Green basecoat and some various wash experimentations with the GW Red Wash and Gryphionne Sepia.
Here's a link to the post, which is in my "Project Impossible" Project thread. I've got a Ork Trukk in there as well. Please dont' be afraid to share your opinions!!

Also, while you're at it, I would like opinions on the color theme I could use for my next Shoota Boy Mob of x20. I already have Brown leather with Blue Armor for Shootas and Red for Sluggas. I wanted to change something a little bit so it's easy to distinguish betwen mobs..I was thinking Black and Blue armor perhaps.
