Will be used in a ~2000 point list.
Well considering you can only have up to 20 in a squad, I'd have to go with option 1 lol. A much better option would be 4 units of 11 imo.
After 2 turns:
"What the #%&! I killed 14 warriors and only 2 actually died?!"
"Looks like you're going to have to do something else!"
Definitely the 4 units. More Troops units, plus perhaps a little more survivability with more units available to help with WBB.

My friend gave me his Necron army and I'm trying to put together a list. I'm totally new to this.
Why not go for 4 units? Like 10-10-10-12 or 10-10-11-11. More mobility, better spread, less vulnerable to CC.
EDIT: Or 10-10-10-10, if you cut two. You could even convert the remaining two into Lords, and save some cash.
