Welcome to Librarium Online!
While playing 40k Tau (and Fantasy Dwarves) i would get pretty frustrated sorting through my army list papers checking certain stats etc for my army units. So I made up these "Army unit cards" that are nice small versions of your army list that you can place on the game table for quick references. All you do is print it out (preferably on card stock), cut it out and slide it into a card game sleeve (like something Magic players use). These cards are the same exact size as Magic cards or other CCG cards.
I made a ton of Dwarf ones awhile ago when i played Fantasy and now I've made Tau versions. Tried to get all the fonts etc right just like in the Codex etc. The unit title font is called Venus Rising (download here) and for the smaller text I used Arial/Helvetica. The translucent background font was the Tau font that GW has (download here). Also just grabbed the highest resolution images from the GW site and they look pretty good.
I've found these very useful in mixing and matching army units between games (i'll make multiple point iterations of each type of unit), much quicker way to create an army based on what race your going up against than sitting down and typing out a list.
Let me know what you guys think (I'll post different units as I finish their cards)

Blank versions with no stats etc would probably be ok. Beware of GWIP being too freely used.

Updated and removed the non blank version, I will post some blank ones with no stats and vital info next week.
Rikimaru, could you edit your quote of my original post so it doesnt have the link to that image? Its still showing up when i view this post... even after removing my original image link.
Good idea, I think I'll make some up for my armies. Props!

Great idea though and well executed (take some Rep). I would contact GW and ask them what there position would be on using the cards for personnel use and their position on letting others use the cards (again for personnel non profit making use) via a thread like this one .
As long as you are not doing it for personnel gain they may well be OK with it. Who knows they may even use the idea themselves because it is a good idea.
Nice idea anyway, would be awesome to combine it with Army Builder so it could generate cards for you so they weren't so static.
Im not too interested in making money on these... just thought they were helpful in playing and thought other people here would like to use them too.
I will post some blank ones later today so you guys can use them too...
