Hi Everybody,
I am *thinking* of going tau and have 2 battlesuits, 3 stealth suits and etheral aun'shi (birthday presents) and so the obvious choice would be to get some firewarriors next but then what?

Like you said, fire warriors are a must, after that i suggest a Hammerhead, it is a wonderful little device. I also advise you to get a third crisis suit, make one of them your commander, and the others his bodyguard.

also get 3 more stealth, 3 stealth suits wont do much at all.

Have you figured out how many points you want to collect up to?

what you are doing now is good, but Tau survive on crisis suits just poping
up randomly and wiping out squads and then falling back with jetpacks.

step 2) read the forums, find out what has been working for people.

step 3) fill out your troop choices and get transports, be fluid, otherwise you
will get stuck and wiped out holding your ground.

step 4) focus on heavy support. broadsides or hammerheads.

step 5) Tau dont have any decent fast attack, you can choose from gundrones
or Pathfinders , there is a new unique upgrade which is the pathfinder railgun. I've fought tau with my army and they did pretty awesome.

Hope this insight has helped.

I would personally agree with Shas'O'M'Yen, i used to play tau, and you might be dependent on suits depending on how u want to run ur army, but get a hammer head definitly.

I know i wont be getting a broadside as they are a whopping $50 over here in AU.
Maybe a hammerhead or two what is the best gun for them considering i regularly face thousand sons templars other marines and necrons?
