An exodite army has always been a concept i have felt would not be competitive given some assumptions i have made about army restrictions. But that doesnt have to be the case. You can have any eldar unit mixed with a primative exodite army, and declare that they are getting support from Craftworld eldar. Which is true, as craftworld eldar do guard exodite eldar worlds, or at least send some contingents, like some guardians or some scorpions.
Lets begin and i will add some conversion ideas along side.
Farseer - You could have a seer council on jetbikes (cold ones) with singing spears and what ever psychic abilities you feel appropriate.
Harlies - Of course you should use them as they are, they travel the galaxy uniting the eldar cultures through their performances.
Scorpions - Could have them as they are since they are great looking models, adding scorpions represents either the exodites developing there own cadre of close combat warriors or the aggressive defence of a watchful craftworld.
Guardians - squads both Storm and Defenders, maybe you could find ways to make them look primative if you want to make them exodites or leave them as is if you want them to be craftworld auxilliaries.
Rangers - A must at least one unit, you would expect them to be chilling out with the exodites.
Shining Spears - Cold One Knights mixed with Guardian models or other dark elf ranges models. Probably the only units you would only take in a exodite army and the conversions would be fun.
Warwalkers - Good choice can leave them as it, but converting them from Some reptillian models from the warhammer range or some kroot models and strapping weapons to them would give you a very exodite feel.
Falcon...a massive bird with rider and guns attached...
Wave Serpent...imagine the Midgar Zolom from FF7 but with a capacity to carry troops.
Havent actually make an army list but some suggestions that i hope will help spark some imaginative lists.
thanks first reply rep for u
I too have just started an Exodite army. I don't know about you but mine use the normal Eldar rules, I wouldn't have it any other way |I have found making the models look "exodity" kinda hinders you abit. My Ideal army would include tanks but I want my eldar to look realy "exodity" so they won't be any tanks. I do have a stegadon with a weapon platform on it's back that plays as a wraithlord. See my site for details (Eldar Exodites - Home) but yeah. I have decided that I will use all the foot sloggers, Avengers, Banshees, Farseer etc in the exoidtes and in a mech army too. So they can fight either with my exodites, Lizzard shining spears, Stegadon Wraithlord etc. Or in a mech army, 3 flacons and 2 serpents I think this will suit me personaly. As for your list... There are much more experinced player here to critic it, I'll leave it up to them. If you wanna talk exodites contact me via my site
