    New to the Dar~

I have been playing space marines since 98'. Almost finished with them, and started eldar now. Here is the basic scheme im doing.

I got a unit of dire avengers, 20 guardians, farseer, and a wraithlord so far.

I was thinking of getting a unit of 10 scorpions,10 banshees, waveserpent, and some rangers.

Unsure about any other units. Any suggestions?

I'd recommend some Fire Dragons. With what you have just now, you have some AT capabilities (EML, Brightlance etc on the WS, Guardians and Wraithlord) but Wraithlords are ridiculous for drawing AT fire themselves. If someone puts enough effort into it, a WL can be dead by the end of the 1st turn. With it being so persecuted, you need something else to help deal with Tanks/good save units. The Fire Dragons have short range, but anything hit by them is going to be a pile of molten goop. If you were to stick the Dragons in a WS they could get to where they were needed or even distract some AT fire from the Wraithlord onto the Serpent. It takes a bit of practice to keep the dragons alive for more than one target but it is doable.

I agree with the dragons. They're great for AT and for taking out MC's (except Avatars). I love harlies, if you want to find a compromise between banshees and scorpions. They run through cover like it isn't there, are hard to shoot at in the best of times, and rip through just about anything when they charge.

    Farseer complete~

The interesting thing about these pictures is i used one of those lights with a magenfying glass. I think they turned out pretty cool.

No comments on the scheme yet how odd :/ I thought i had a unique one going here.

I rather like the color scheme. The only thing I would say, is that you do and inkwash and drybrush some over those violet lines on the robes to soften them some. It would give some shading and help everything blend a bit better.

I really like your scheme on the tank, really clean and neat, and the colours go together very well.

On a couple of the models however, it looks a little muddled up, for example I dont like the way the Farseers pistol is the same colour as his hand, kind of melds them together.

    Overall looks great though, gj.

Cool looking models, although I must say that warp spider's back is screaming out to be painted with something... its a pure white canvas

I like your scheme a lot, its mine! I use bone white instead of the lighter whites, and I use green for the gems instead of the orange/yellow. Welcome to the eldar. Fire dragons are essential, banshees are divine and doom is your best friend
