    Thinking of expanding

    I currently have
1x destroyer lord rez orb and warscythe
    40x Necron warriors
    3x Destroyers
    10x Scarabs
    1x Monolith

I'm wondering what would be good to get to expand it with

A Necron Lord or two on foot would be a good start. If you still like your Destroyer Lord you might want to field a squad or two of Wraiths to accompany him.
2 more Destroyers for a full squad of 5 OR 3 more for a second unit of 3.
I like Immortals. Despite Warriors being more cost effective, I still like to field a unit of 10 Immortals when I can.
Tomb Spyders. I don't use them personally but I'm hearing lots about close combat goodness coming from them.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.

I'm not really a fan of immortals considering its $22 per model

Very nice, but only in certain armies/against certain armies

Yeah, they're pricey, but awesome in game, if you dont want to pay, convert some warriors into them, just takes 2 guns. You'll just have some armless warriors you can use to convert other stuff, or use as terrain.

Same as the wraithlord/wraiths. Good in certain situations. If you're going up against a CC army, the tombspyders are beasts, but you need a nice chunk of them. Against a shooty army, they're nice incase your warrior squad gets isolated and knocked out, just have a spyder within a foot of them.

Might also wanna pick up the C'tan. Tossing a Nightbringer or a Deciever into a lower point game is DEVISTATING.
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
    Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
    Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)

What you have is already very good. If you're looking to expand, I'd consider the following:

Lord on foot with R/Orb either instead of or in addition to your Destroyer Lord. If you want a Destroyer Lord, considering doing as CBrate suggested and run a flanking Wraithwing.

2 more Destroyers. A unit of 5 is a lot better than 3, because it gives you a better chance to gain WBB. Alternatively, as already suggested, get another 3 and run two units of three next to eachother. That way, even if one unit is destroyed it can still WBB.

I think Immortals would be a little bit too much, since you already have 40 Warriors. I would definitely look into getting three or four Tomb Spyders in there. They're really cheap but very effective against most armies.

    1) Warriors can get double toughness by lascannons, etc easily and if assaulted die that much harder. Keeping a foot slogging lord with an orb nearby helps them pop back up and ensure that many more get WBB.

    2) You should consider the warrior conversion for the immortals. I haven't finished mine yet (lazy) but in the long run they'll look fine (and only cost me roughly $3 per model)...Ebay (arms and extra flayers) BITS are your friends!

There have been rumours circulating that the next Codex will remove the C'Tan in favour of Necron Lord variants. The C'Tan to be part of our Apocalypse-level game.

I have the Deceiver. Punches nearly as hard in CC but far more flexible.

Also, I was thinking of doing a CC army (deciever, paraiahs flayed ones scarabs etc) Just to be a bit different, what do you guys think?

Sample list (I don't have most of these models)
    1x Deciever
1X destroyer lord w/ rez orb warscythe (gaze of flame and Phylactery)
    3xWraiths
    30x warriors
    5x Destroyers
    5x Pariahs
    10x Flayed Ones
    10x Scarabs D. Fields (obviously)
    Tomb Spiderx 3
    1x Monolith

just something I was thinking of, want to see your opinions

Unquisitor, lol no I haven't yet. You can check progress here though.

As for the combination you just outlined there (the 'Fear' list), it can definitely work well. But it's just very tricky to pull off. The hardest part is keeping the Pariahs alive long enough for their special abilities to be useful. Since Pariahs are what holds the army together, it's tough!
