    ork modelling question

not sure if this should be in the modelling section but meh...

bodging some lootas from sluggas and loads of other crap i have lying around, but their left arm doesn't need anything, so was going to make an empty hand giving the enemy "the finger"

so basically what i need is...

    regular ork sized left arm
    no weapon in it
preferably something around the wrist to make turning it around easier
or just in the right orientation to make it easier to show him giving the finger

if you could tell me any arms you've found like that and what packs itd be great, photos would be amazing too

    thanks

    Shootas

On the regular ork boyz sprue there's several arms just like that. They were designed to be holding the business end of the shoota, but they can be used for many things. Some of them have wrappings or straps around the wrist and the fingers are modeled in such a way that filing it down to the middle finger would be no trouble at all!

thanks for the quick response should have made it a bit clearer, want the arm bent at 90 degrees and coming away from the body like a slugga arm but with nothing attached, could always just use a slugga or choppa arm but would prefer to keep the nicely moulded hands untouched apart from the finger rearrangement

wow that was a lot of text, sorry

and thanks for the response again

    Tricky

The middle finger? That's tricky, considering how easily it'd break off. You could glue on a small bit, or use green stuff, but I think the best way to do it is to customize a powerklaw, or create one of your own, with three claw fingers and a thumb, and have the klaw give the finger. ^_^
