Welcome to Librarium Online!
I am painting my army up. I have given it a base coat of Malt Black. Then painting the armour parts scorched brown and for the cloth on the troops going to pick another colour of brown probably lighter. But for my vehicles its only 1 black 1 brown. Then i am going to make camo nets to throw on top of them what are different colours of green. My question is what's the best way of making camo nets? Also i will post pictures of my army when painted and done. I think its something that is not commonly done. Sure you can paint a model but its physical shape is still the same. With bits of camo on top of it and dangling from the side it looks totally different . Also it goes in with the board what i am building what is a forest sort of thing with 2 Tau Towers in it over looking the forests and a bit of empty part of the board with trenches for attackers :3
cheese cloth or gauze works well.
My upcoming blog in the works:
You can buy some loosely knitted cloth, like the above poster mentioned and then, to give a sense of afixed fake leaves: buy some dried herbs and glue these on, afterwards paint the whole thing.
