    Peice from carnifex sprue

There is this bit from the carnifex sprue which looks like a little V shaped pincer, but has a flat bottom. It's textured like the enhanced senses head but I can't see where it would be used. Where does this peice go or what is it for?

I know that piece you're talking about. It isn't clear what it is for. That piece has no specific use in the rules. It works well stuck onto the top of the Carnifex head, facing either forward or back. Using it will add to the overall size of the Carnifex. It can be painted up as either carapace or exoskeleton depending on where you put it. Just mess about with it and use it to convert the thing.

I finally found a use for it after I did all but one of my Fex's. Here is a shameless push of one of my conversions.

and this arm attaches to my fex to make my brachiofex. The photos are too large so to the album you must go!

Excellent Splata, that is just what I needed to know. I had considered those parts as a thing to use once or twice, here and there. However your Briachiofex gives me the knowledge to use them as legs. Very handy as one of my half built Scorpiofexes needs some legs. Reppy for you and your usefulness.

Can't wait to see it leech. It should suit your theme really well. it is very very pincery. Perhaps not very long and dangerous (suiting my theme wonderfully) but I'm sure a little modding would fix that up nice and easy!

The lack of super-nastyness is actually helpful. The bug it's going on is going to have a barbed strangler and twin linked deathspitter. The better to cough up blasts all over people. But this means it will work better with legs that don't make it out as an absolute death-monster in assault, because it will, well suck in assault.

Thos pincery things are interesting now that I have though about them more. It does get me wondering about other parts. I have ended up with several spare scythe and mace tails. I wonder what they could be used for aside from being tails?

I've heard this too but I'm not sure that it is. I think it happened on a site that sells individual Carnifex parts. They needed to call it something so they named it the bonded exoskeleton part. But I don't see how it bonds the exoskeleton or just provides and excuse to say one of our bugs is tougher.
