Welcome to Librarium Online!
I know this should probably be posted in the rumours/news section of the forum but just in case any warboss doesn't look there I thought I'd better post it here. (Sorry to any mods who might decide to lock/move/delete this thread for being in the wrong place.)
Bell of lost souls has posted a pic of what the long rumoured sprue looks like. (seen at golden demon toronto).
Warhammer 40k & Warhammer Fantasy Battle News | Bell of Lost Souls: 40K NEWS: Ork Battlewagon Accessory Sprue
Looks good. I've been waiting for this to come out before I buy the GW battlewagon for the deffrolla. Sucks that they didn't include this sprue with the tank in the first place though.

Been here nearly 10 years and still haven't managed 500 posts.
I'm not going to say that the sprue itself is a rip-off, as it looks quite fine, all things considered.
What IS a rip-off is the fact that they didn't include the sprue with the battlewagon in the first place. Considering how many bits were in the new Valkyrie set, the Ork battlewagon set was a rip-off, considering that literally nothing extra came with it.
If I've never said it before, I'll say it now: if you want to make a cool Ork vehicle, then buy Imperial tanks.
Yeah. I was excited until I remembered.. it costs moar monay.
I'm not going to say it's a rip off, either. But it's a rip off. A good looking rip off, but a rip off nonetheless.
Besides, it's not like it's difficult to make a brutal looking Deff Rolla all on your lonesome. IMHO, if you're going to pay the extra moolah, spend it on extra bitz to scratch build your own, and not on an accessory kit. It's the Ork thing to do. Orks don't accessorize. Orks kit bash! (Or.. bash kits.. either way it's propa!)
I've recently become a fan of this thing called Dubstep. And you should too.

Da Moo Kowz is da drinkinest Orks of dem all!
It's only a rumor, but the estimated cost for the accessory sprue that I've heard is $13.25
Is that too much for what you're getting? Not really.
Is that too much for something we should've gotten as part of the normal set? YES.
Think of it this way: $57.75 battlewagon + $13.25 accessory sprue = $71.00 battlewagon
The battlewagon by itself already cost as much as a land raider, and with the accessory sprue, it's only marginally cheaper than a baneblade, stompa, or battlebox!
Yeah, this is a real rip-off. Just convert the deffrolla from parts.
Or, if you're not going to official tournaments, from historical models. I have somewhere a BW built of a 1/35 Tamiya T-72, using plastic sprues for roll-over bars, plasticard for floors and armor, chicken wire, and guns from various origins (including a zoid gatling!).if you want to make a cool Ork vehicle, then buy Imperial tanks.
Soviet vehicles in particular already have some orky attitude...
