Welcome to Librarium Online!
can someone tell me, does the warbuggy box come with the model options to put rokkits on it or do you have to come up with modeling conversions?
Nope, just a TL big shoota. You can just cut off the barrels and use spare rockets from other kits.
thanks for the info. i'm new to 40k and orks, do you have any suggestion on where i should try to get the bits to make the rokkits from so i can start looking around for them? i don't want to get something and find the scale or design doesn't look so good.
The rokkit launchas in the boyz and loota/burna box are good. You can also get some spare killa kan arms, or get some spare kombi-rokkits from the nobz set.
Or you make GW happy by buying their conversion set...

Or you can find an imperial guard player who has a few hunter-killer missiles left over. Baring that use your imagination. I have a huge crossbow with dynamite strapped to the shaft working as a rokkit and another buggy with a series of tubes to represent a double row of rockets.

I wouldn't use the official warbuggy models, they cost far too much for what you're getting. Personally, I converted extra deffkoptas into warbuggies, simply by gluing on a front bumper, and a barrel on the back, to be sort of a jet engine. I'm also going to greenstuff some flames coming out, when I have the time.
