    Planet Strike... NO PHASE OUT!!!!

When your an attacker you don't have to take any necron models. I'm not sure on this one but i think that will mean no phase out?

    Ye Old Necrons (R.I.P.) (7000pts) W52 D5 L9
    New Crons!!! (5000pts) W1 D1 L1
    Blood Angels (2500pts) W4 D0 L1

It depends how literal you want to be with it.

The codex says "If, after making all We'll Be Back rolls, a Necron army is reduced to 25% or less of it's original number of models..." (Later sentences describe that these are Necron models it's talking about.)

So, since you start with 0 Necrons on the field, you cannot be reduced to 0 Necrons. Thus, Phase Out would be removed.

Now, that said, it's a rules lawyering, beardy, easter-egg interpretation that in no way resembles the RAI in question here.

If you want to go with that, then losing any one model would count as a reduction which would trigger phase out

Seeing as how Pariahs, scarabs ,monoliths, tomb spiders and C'tan dont have the Necron special rule in the first place they are not able to effect Phase out.

If your army cant phase out as there are no Necrons in it then it has to fight on to the last model.

although you can really make a huge army of Non-Crons (yes thats what i call'em)

best you can have is 1 C'tan, 10 pariahs, 60 Scarabs and Nine Spyders (or 3 monoliths)
There is no "I" in "team", there is an "I" in "pie" however, as in "Meat Pie" with "Meat" being an anogram of "Team".

    Nightbringer
    10 pariahs
    60 Scarabs
    3 Monoliths

That comes to a total of 2145

So you can play anything up to 2k with no necrons, but more importantly no phase out

i would agree that if you started with zero necrons the number could never be reduced beyond what it started at, therefore, you are always at 100% thus eliminating phase out

that's my opinion on the matter
