Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was wondering if I should have lictors or raveners in my army. They both seem like good choices, but I only want one or the other because I want to save points to get more gaunts. Lictors can take the attention off most of my army, while raveners are really fast.
You call those cheap implants boobs?
They aren't boobs, they're lies!
it depends on yur own style fo play. wat u consider fun. we cant tell u this as yu are the onyl one who knows. please dont ask questions like this. do u like throwing a spoke in the enemies plan? then lictors. do u like a faster unit with a bit of a punch? then go with raveners.
<insert witty remark here>
Neither of them is very cost-effective, so either is good... To me they're both simply wrenches to throw into the works of the enemy battle plan, even though they both fulfill the role a bit differently.
So eventually, up to You... Personally, I like the Lictor fluff and special rules better, so I'd probably take them as a priority.
Oh, and for the Lictor-people out there: The "Hit and Run" ability some units (Lictor included) have will be slightly modified in 4thEd... Don't recall the exact wording just now, but it should allow a bit more leeway in the direction it runs to.
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
