Welcome to Librarium Online!
I decided to make this thread to clear up our wish list thread.
So Tomb what should the tomb stalker have? What awsome weapons of harvest did the necrons equip the tombstalker, one of the Necrons mighty weapons which has just awoken from its slumber. I can imagine that this titan was used to harvest our oldest enemy the eldar and had a profound ability to combat the evil and vile powers of the war! Origional concept by white drawf mag.
So tomb what should this mighty peice of harvesting equiment have to strike fear into our enemies!

I don't know much about titan weapons, but as has been said, some sort of WBB buff is a good idea, or perhaps some sort of rule that allows wiped-out units with the "Necron" rule to re-emerge at the table edge, something like the nids' "without number" rule for gaunts.
Oooo I like the WoN Idea, seems like something that would really fit 'cron fluff.
Some sort of fear aura would be great, Necrons don't get enough of that and they REALLY Should.
14/14/14 Living metal with...whatsay 6 structure points?
I'm thinking the gun should be multi-shot, S9-10 AP 2 5" blast, sort of a mega-sized version of the guass cannon. That or a PPC! mmmm lightning bolts.
And as stated the two titan weapons (Canew think dreadnought arms but better)
Alll good sugestions and a really like the WON idea. ^ structure points would be nutz but could you imagine the point cost XD. Lighting arc like the gothica space ships would be suiting. And of course two titian arms! Now the hard part is building and assembling this thing.
Don't mess up our fluff GW!
I think it would be sweet if this guy got some flamer template weapons, like a Gauss caster (S8 AP 3 flame template) or even a Gauss Catapult (S8 AP 2, flamer template range G48 D3 scatter) place wherever you want (within range) as long as the narrow end is facing the Stalker. Then roll for scatter, keeping the narrow end pointed at the Stalker. It would kinda be like a gigantic artillery...perfect for a gigantic super spyder!
arms seem a little too short you could instead make it a gargantuan creature with T9 W9 like a giant Tomb Spyder. As for guns i vote for a twin linked particle accelerator with the SD AP3 shots or a 7" S10 AP1 pie plate methinks
There is no "I" in "team", there is an "I" in "pie" however, as in "Meat Pie" with "Meat" being an anogram of "Team".
Maybe it cold spawn spyders, in the same way spyders spawn scarabs.
I would love some kind of scorpion tail somewhere on it. Like some kind of combined extra arm(s?) for repairs/tearing flesh apart and an extremely cool, big Strenght D ordnance gun of ultimate guass destruction...
I'd love to abuse the rules that hard. The spyder get the same toughness as the stalker, and so does the scarabs
As to modeling, I had (and still have) this crazy fantasy of someday VDRing and building my own titan, if I ever did get into Apocalypse. After all, the Necrons don't really have anything that good (the pylon makes for nice scenery, but otherwise), and you know what they say: you want it done right, do it yourself.
That picture is the first artist's rendering I've ever seen of the Tomb Stalker. Where did it come from? It looks fine, and matches the half paragraph of fluff I've ever been able to find on it, but on an aesthetic level, I'm not a big fan of the "giant spider" concept. First off, I'm not a huge fan of spiders anyway, and I think we already have baby (scarabs) and daddy (tomb spyder) spiderlike models here anyway. I think a "big brother" to the Monolith would be far better.
I always pictured a giant skimmer of some kind. There really aren't any titan-sized flyers, and while this would be a challenge to model, I think it would be truly unique, which is more than I can say for the Imperium, eldar, chaos, and orks (oh, look! Another... two-legged tank. *yawn*)
I figured it would have a Monolith-esque structure, but no portal, and perhaps a large dome instead of the crystal. I also pictured long, snakelike arms coming down to grab/impale unfortunates who get too close, a la "War of the Worlds," or a giant version of the probe droid from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
If it absolutely HAS to have legs (and I don't see why it does), I picture three of them, made of metal, very spindly legs a la John Christopher's The Tripods series. I'm talking thin, spiky things, not unlike the ones on that big... thing Forge World makes for the nids (Heirophant?)
Isn't there already a super-monolith?
