In our last game a question arouse. Let's asume we have to Necron units of the same type (say destroyers) unit A and unit B. The two units a rather close (less then 6"). In the enemy turn unit B is completly destroyed, therefore the crons that decide to give it another go have to join unit A.
If unit A ist teleported with the monolith in this same turn do you only roll again for the original loses of unit A or also for the loses of unit B? It's somewhat strange, because unit A and B have merged. The codex states that all eligible models of the unit get a second roll, so if a cron joins another unit due to wbb does he then count as if he'd never belonged to another unit?
Thanks a lot!
The minis from the old unit B don't get to re-roll WBB. The reason is that only the Destroyers that managed to get back up join unit A. At least that's how I've always played it (I've had the same issue before), but I dont have the codex with me, so I can't be 100% sure.

Can't really say you're right or wrong without reading the codex. I'll be back home from vacation a week from now, so I'll check it then.
