Anyone ever useed these for anything 40k? I've put this on the ork forum cos I'm an ork at heart and I'm considering using something for a battlewagon or summik. XD
I'm kitbashing a battlewagon using a 1/35th scale Tiger I. Stuck on how to make the troop compartment though, and the deffrolla has been giving me headaches.
Got any pics? I'd love to see how this stuff looks Thanks
I'll try and get some today, its bare bones though, just the chassis, gun, and driver.
Been having trouble getting my hands on a camera, hopefully today
Here it is, not even close to finished. Comparison shots with a slugga and a shot of my custom driver.
Dunno why the first image is flipped on its side :/
Nice, love the driver especialy ^_^ You'll have to put some more pics up when it's done so 1/35'th seems a pretty god scale, not too big or small. Thank you Shaggoth ^_^
Yep, I was lucky enough to use a model with rubber tracks, so try and find those if you can, save a TON of time. Still gotta build the troop compartment up top, make a deffrolla for the front, armor up everything, orkify it a bit, and the paint this monster. Thinking of cutting down the Killkannon, as it seems too long and rediculous for such a short ranged, vindicator-esque weapon.
Not quite so war-like, i've been eyeing a 1/32 scale VW Van model at the store i frequent... could you imagine 20 'ard boyz piling out of a VW? it's got spectacular potential, and with an Ork head with the goggles molded to sit on top of it, i think i've got some pretty good ideas in my head. Only thing is, it will require a lot of time, and unfortunately i'm lacking it I can just picture Orks using the VW Van as a "Trukk" or maybe even a Battlewagon.... Also, found a miniature "Flyer" Red Wagon about the right size to be a nice trukk if i could figure out how to make it look orky...
